to Haddock87 (29:35): yone's Fate Sealed is a blink an not a dash so it ignores knockdowns (i.e. jinx e, veigar e, poppy e). Granted, the animation of it really doesn't help in clearing this. Katarina's Shunpo is a blink and doesn't have a 'dash' as part of the animation so that makes it obvious that it's not. But yone R does not..

The duration it's fine, what's not cool is he getting movement speed for no reason so he can catch non and low mobility champions.
13:15 his true damage is just repeating his physical damage so armor does reduce the true damage, the problem is that his E is literally a 35% damage amp pretending to be anything other than a steroid with an ekko ult on it like its so bullshit.

some pointers for a happy Veigar life. Ignore rotations, farm farm farm. Get a banshees veil, to break enemy spell combo on you usually leaves you alive. When flash is on cd, your agressivness is also on cd. Cage is IMHO i more powerful spell then comet, if you can hit anyone with comet they are either stunned or bad.
dude even with frozen heart yone still 100-0's in the e duration. Not getting one shot so he snaps back and you survive would be what I assume the counterplay is SUPPOSED to be, but even building defensively it still lasts so freaking long

Like, what damage does Yone have to be scared about early game v a Fheart veigar? + Yone also does magic damage, building armor isnt that great tbh, biggest counters are damage and cc. Olaf and Trundle are way stronger imo

Yeah rewatching that part I might of lived running under tower maybe. But it's easier to say that after rewatching it. In the middle of the game it felt bullshit so that's why I was pissed. Plenty of other deaths besides this one where it felt completely BS though

The difference for me is just I play the champ a lot, so when I play vs him I tend to know what he can and can't do, but I will still throw hands at my monitor when yones get an angle on me I didn't think about. That was a pre-berserker's yone, when he has items it's a lot harder to know what he can do if he actually hits abilities for once

a character with mixed damage, a speedup dash chase ability that is also and execute and lets you return to safety, 2 hard cc abilities both of which are knockups so there's no tenacity agains them, 3 dashes, a shield, max %hp damage on a character that gets tanky just by building lifesteal thanks to his shield. yeah pretty balanced alright!

imo the greatest tragedy of Yone is it ruins Yasuo’s character. Yasuo is sonic the hedgehog and Yone is Shadow, yeah sonic is the main character but the moment you introduce the character who’s “them… but edgy” everyone drops their appreciation for the first toy. Oh you’ve written an interesting character in the lore who struggles over the grief of killing his brother? Gee it would be a shame if we could put that character in front of him (you know, the dead one? The thing that typically youre not allowed to come back from and that fact is the source of grief) and allow them to talk and solve that issue. This is mirrored in the meta, Yasuo actually requires skill, compared to Yone he requires a lot of skill, but the degen toxic win or run it down Yasuo players of yesteryear have now dropped their favorite toy and moved onto the next hot thing.
