Man, I know you mention that you're not a singer and you're worried about it not sounding good, but damn dude, this is the single best Blink 182 vocal recreation I've ever seen, and the singing sounds so good. Your mark tone is spot on, but even your Tom grabs are great.
Great vid, tons of awesome pointers in this! Question for you, on your "hidden" vocal doubles, dafter processing them the same (EQ, compression etc.), do are you "hiding" them just with simple leveling? Just bring the dB down a few points? Also, are you singing at full capacity like the main vocal? The reason I ask is because the waveform is a bit narrower so wasn't sure if you sang quieter. Thanks!
Man, just like all of us, you are MUCH too hard on yourself on your vocals. Your range and tone are most always spot on. The fact that listening to ourselves recorded loses all of the mid and low end bone vibrations really affects what we think we sound like, versus what we sound like to everybody else. This was a great video, and you absolutely nailed Tom delong's vocals, as well as all of the instruments throughout this song. Much cred to you on this project, and as always, super helpful. You have mad skills, for which you do not give yourself near enough credit for. I need to do is get off of my ass and transition from my learning phase into implementation. Stupid life keeps getting in the way.
Really good job. As everyone is saying, don't be so hard on yourself with vocals; you did a really great job at recreating the sound. Question, did you have compression whilst recording? And I may have missed this part, but did you use auto-tune?
I am loving this series. I've been following you for half a year now and learned a lot from you. Thank you for being awesome and I hope you don't stop, because your videos are amazing!❤️🤘
Hey I don’t know if your still responding to comments for this video but what would you change if this was for one of toms vocals im doing a cover of anthem im a beginner on this so a little guidance would be appreciated
When the AUTO Release is enabled on the Ableton Compressor, does it still work in conjunction with your settings (like Fab Filter Pro-C)? I always wondered that, so I only use AUTO Release when I don't care that much about timing, and usually on RMS. Thanks. New sub here, and really enjoying your content. Multo obrigado!

I’m sure you will be making great music man!
I want to sing like Tom, but I’d settle for Mark. Damn Tom does shit nobody can do quite like him.

You can use pretty much the same settings maybe a bit more distortion!
