Loggerhead Key Dry Tortugas

We woke up on the boat near Dry Tortugas National Park, then boated to a nearby island (Loggerhead Key) with a lighthouse on it. We explored the island a little and then went scuba diving near the island.

Been to the Dry Tortugas twice over the years once by boat and once by sea plan which was very interesting flight going over all the wrecks. Have fun..

I spent a week in the Tortugas when I was a kid. Was a great time. Was on a commercial fishing boat, and it took us 12 hours from Key West. Man, I miss Florida.

@@MikAnda We stopped in the Marquesas for lunch, but the boat's cruising speed was only 7kts. Next time, I'm taking the seaplane!

Yes, the sea plane seems the quickest for sure.
