you know whats cool about Melechesh? you can actually talk to them. asked them if i could use one of their songs for an event, and not only gave me the okay to use it, but wanted to see video of the event too. most bands treat fans as though theyre above them, but Melechesh doesnt do that...
Actually in my country Greece the drum beat in 6:42 we call it rumba and its actually a rythm that is used in many Greek songs and that's why i love those eastern type of traditional music because we have so much in common, so hails from Greece brothers!
I think this was the last good lineup Melechesh has had, saw them a few times since them and it was really bad, always different lineup and tons of mistakes in their set. Ill go to Czech Death Fest this summer for Marduk and Asphyx, but if it's like anything for Melechesh the last couple years I saw them, I will just be at the beer tent while they struggle to play their own music.
I’m not into black metal but this band incorporating middle eastern scales into metal is just excellent , simple but complex at times specially with changes in the songs like you have 7 or 8 different riffs some times and you have to remember all of that! , for the guitarists out there try to play one of their songs and you will know what I mean !
It's still so weird seeing them live or seeing people making this at all lol. This is the very first non mainstream band I've ever heard and I had no idea how these noises were being made lol
From Slayer.. Behemoth and even Morbid Angel this band is at top of the list. Without a doubt on a different level.. this is definitely the best lineup.
@@jeffsvenson2141 not at all just during lengthy court dates . Band mamaged to still get bail for ashmedi abd had session guys. Now new album coming . Yeah the action on it looks a lot lower than the others, I wonder why. At 3:23 it looks like the saddle is set so low that it's barely even touching the string.
Yes the Bass is so up front , I just love the pinching plucks , giving their rhythm section so much edge , not that the guitars are not awesome , but it’s just great company to overall sound , very cool indeed
Are you that fucking dumb? They only pro-shot 15 minutes of the set but sets are longer...jeez...how can one be so stupid. You really thought they were setting up the stage for 12.39 minutes?!
But still, they were treated not as well as others, even subdued, NOT interviewed etc, hints and comments....by the owner of the festival who discriminated against them for being part of a minority a mystical folk from Jerusalem
Kiko Glocks aka ghost drummer melechesh is one of the first bm bands of the second wave. the difference between them and scandinavian bands are the mesopotamian and arabian scales melechesh are using
One of the most underated band! Freaking legends!
Shout out to the sound enginers !!! Brutal assault live videos never disapoint!!

Agreed, we made them play at our small fest in French countryside (MFEST 2015) and they were cool down to earth dude.
Agree , sent emails back and forth to Ashmedi the vocalist and responded so professionally
0:16 "Ladders to Sumeria"
4:54 "Rebirth of the Nemesis"
Thanks to GabrieLP
My all time Melechesh favourites with Multiple Truths.
Goosebumps man. This band is several levels above everyone else.

Melechesh blew my mind. Best possible festival start
Those two dudes at 0:18 are pretty well synchronized ahah
@Özden Çaylak Puhahaha abi nasıl buldun videoda kendini :D
Kevin kills, but the bassist deserves so loud volume! What a guy! Great band!
GREAT stage presence!
This is true black metal not some Scandanavian bullshit.
Ajmaeen Mahtab - Its not even black metal.
Bassist is "Scorpios Androctonus" from the band Crimson Moon. The last album Oneironaut is definitely worth checking out.

Flawless performance!
These are also pretty heavy songs to play live. But Melechesh never fails me.
What a fucking amazing band!!

This is my favourite lineup of Melechesh! Kevin kills!
sadly the lineup only has gotten progressively worse since this era.

FLAWLESS MELECHESH
Fuckinggggg awesome \m/
The bassist is f*cking insane
great !
It seems that the bassist have a different adjustement for its lower string, that's cool.

could anybody do the songlist... please
Fucking great stuff!! Does anyone know what bass guitar the bass player is using? Always awesome to see a fingerstyle player in extreme metal!
Bet it's Gibson explorer 85.

ow whats that outro ?? anybody knows ?
almost sounds like "the scribes of kur"
can anyone please tell the name of the songs?
Ladders To Summeria, Rebirth Of The Nemesis
was this the whole show? i know many good bands that get shitty 30 mins timeslots in the afternoon, but 12 freaking mins?
Cool...fucking band
El ritmo del verso de la segunda canción se me figuró a algo latino o más festivo, incluso como reggaetón o algo así. Suenan bien.

En si es más oriental que nada menos latino ya que ellos tienen inspiración de música más arábica, y un poco más

In Brutal Assault the bands play only 11 minutes?
Are you that fucking dumb?

Who's the second guitarist? Love his stage presence.
MT, who also plays in The Spirit
Playing metal with a vest.
Aladin metal

What a powerful performance.Too bad i pretty much dislike the band...
Same here, their albums do nothing for me but I'll be damned if this performance isn't one of the tightest I've seen lately.
unfortunatly all we can hear from the bass is a constant roar :/ and no more
this not black metal at all sounds more like metal
Kiko Glocks aka ghost drummer
melechesh is one of the first bm bands of the second wave. the difference between them and scandinavian bands are the mesopotamian and arabian scales melechesh are using
this is too good to call it black metal.. that's 100% thrash metal at its finest.
ehhh...nope
Nope X2
Nope X3
Nope X4
Nope x5
Wicked lineup in the band! Who is that other guitar player?
