Removing blue tape is so satifying, nice job! I'm looking at getting a GRACO TC PRO Cordless, so no wire to mess with. With 2 batteries, always one on a fast charger I should be fine.
I have a bigger sprayer called the Graco es210 i use on the exterior walls, it goes into a 5 gallon bucket of paint. and I use the small graco tcpro for doors and trims you can only spray a quart at a time with that small gun, it's enough to spray a garage door, then you have to fill it up again.
You can use superpaint or if its bare metal you can use a dtm paint which is made specifically for metal. I recomend superpaint if the door is already painted.

Yes it's pretty durable as long as you keep it cleaned and oiled. I recomend cleaning it immediately after every use

The white was sherwin wiliam superpaint, it was just a un tinted white. Superpaint and behr premia have bright whites, but superpaint looks better
