Had the G irons for 3 years. Now have the G400's for my second season. LOVE these irons. They are dead-ass accurate....especially the long (4/5) irons.
@@melwalker2135 The finish has stood up no better or worse than any other sticks I ever have owned. I have not had any complaints and I have my clubs in a bag that does not separate them real well....so they bang around a lot. Really like them.
Great video, it would be nice for you to pic a few varied handicappers and get the to try out clubs. 10,15,20 markers so the rest of us can get a better visual feel of how we may do. Also have their opinions based on what they already have in the bag. Sorry we all don't hit the ball as well as you do. I will subscribe. All the best from Down under.
Noticeable improvement in performance! I was surprised by the gain in ball speed. However, it's a bit frustrating having to re-think the clubs on either side of the irons because the new irons are a half- to full-club longer.
You have done Ping a dis-service here Ali! Look at the lateral dispersion! G=16.6L and G400=4.7L! If a club golfer could tighten their dispersion by the same ratio and have the consistent distance also! What a winner all around!!
Which of the irons seemed easier to hit? Haven’t played in quite awhile but really want to start again. Looking for Irons that are easy to hit but will still be relevant once I start getting back into the groove and playing well.
Hi looking at Ping g400 data in Your other review (iblade vs i vs g400) actually the speed is similar to Ping G! The distance is still higher with ping g400, could it Be the 0.5 Degree lessi in loft?

Hello, How has the pearl finish stood up to general wear. Thats the only issue putting me off buying them.

That 400 sounded INCREDIBLE

this doesn't make sense. its going longer and its more on target?
Great review Ali, Really think they may have a winner here.
Your review is supported with a good data, like it
Totally irrelevant comment, but Ali's eyes are up and looking down the target line before he's hit it. Doesn't seem to do him any harm...
I liked the g irons more. Just my opinion.

Great Review Thank You!! I am buying the G400!!!
Hey James I just got my Ping G400s. You will love them.
@@jackcarlson5200 Hello Jack any issues with pearl finish.
Mel Walker no I have had them for over a full season of golf here in Minnesota and they have been just fine.
At this rate the G 1000 7 iron will be hitting 200 yards! Eventually we'll be able to replace the driver with a G series 7 Iron haha.
Play Fridays and my mate hits his 6 iron 195m hes off 9 amazing to watch hits such high balls. they are Adam Scots old irons blades!
Do the G400 vs i200. Seems like a closing gap between the two.
Great review😀doing what ping are claiming
If you want G to go further, just bend the lofts stronger......

it's a half of degree stronger! of course is a little longer.
wrath646 But launches higher and spins more???
First off, thank you for the video, great work. but it still yields few more yards, not worth upgrading from G IMO.
wrath646 I agree, I got ping g last year. I love them, but always wanted a stronger lofted ping. And now they come out with one. wtf
you are looking 5-10 feet in front of the ball at impact
At least!!!!
@@AliTaylorGolf Well Sorenstam did it too, and she's Hall of fame good!
did you mean 50-10 Inches? Don't think he's looking that far ahead 5-10 feet?????
and Matthew Wolf looks like he has Tourette's at address. I get it!
@@otherone1234 no, 5 to 10 feet. slow down the video and look
