So there it makes perfect sense to have a monitor that is more expensive than the computer. For example a Mac mini M2 costs around $1000 and is extremely good for photography production, and a professional photography display like an Eizo 32" 4K 100% AdobeRGB costs $2000. The slew of 32" QD-OLED 4K panels coming out are really tempting. The only thing that may be concerning are their potential usage as a PC monitor. I love this video because it's so practical. The other reviews get so caught up on the color grading or whatever and it's tiring. Most of us don't care about that. This review is for the average consumer.
Could this monitor work well for both gaming and photo/video editing? I game on my PC and edit on my MacBook Pro and can’t find a monitor good enough to do both or even just excel in editing except for Apple studio display. (Don’t want 27 inch screen tbh)
All decent OLED monitors are fantastic for photo editing. Roughly as good as the Mac Studio display (except 4k rather than 5k). Oled has excellent colour accuracy. The only issue you will find is that with cheaper ones the colours may be poorly calibrated.
ATTENTION 0.3ms response time is only at MAX refresh rate 240hz , only for high end pc gamers , for us regular people the response time is between 13 and 20ms
So I can crop and center a 27 inch/1440p image for higher fps? Can I move that image to the bottom middle of screen or is dead center the only option? I ask this as I need glasses so the monitor has to be close and low where hitting my hands on the bottom of it already happens occasionally.
I would like to know this as well. It isn't a dealbreaker for me. But as I am currently sitting on a 3080 + 7600X I will struggle in some games to reach good fps or I might prefer a smaller display and higher fps in e.g. CS2. Having the cropped 27" in the middle might strain my neck if I have to look slightly upwards if I move the display closer as I probably will when using it in 27" mode for games like CS2.
Such a big monitor will 100% strain your neck if the image can't be placed at the bottom of the display....Ive actually seen an earlier oled where you could place the cropped image where ever you wanted with the joystick so its possible, its just a matter of companies realising why its an important feature to make sure they include, for me it actually is a make or break feature.@@ehdbom

Awesome review, thank you for sharing. As far as picture quality goes, would you say this is a big step up from the 27 LG OLED monitor you had previously?
Great video. Can you comment a bit more on the text clarity on a Mac? I know you covered it quickly, but since you used 27 inch 4k and a 32 4k, there’s a difference in the ppi, which the Mac cares about. Would you say text is blurry or is there a significant difference in the clarity on 4k 27 vs 4k 32 inch?
who told you that? Nobody besides some testers have this monitor and that would be complete bullshit because every Laptop will be charging when u plug it into USB-C.
I recently purchased the LG 32GS95UE, and I’m really impressed with it. However, I realized I should have gone for a model with a KVM switch. I want to use my monitor for gaming, but I also have both a PC and a Mac Pro, so having a KVM switch would have been perfect for an all-in-one setup.
I’ve had my eye on this monitor since I saw it at CES. Definitely buying one on the day it launches or preordering if possible. Hands down this’ll be THE best monitor for a quite a while.

I told myself, I'll buy this monitor unless I find a deal on a LG C-series that I can't pass up. I was at Best Buy 2 weeks ago and what do you know? Open box - Excellent condition C3. Been using it since, no regrets.
I’m curious about the color accuracy. Do the monitors come pre-calibrated? I recently used an Alienware OLED monitor, and the gamma settings were completely off. Even with calibration tools, I couldn’t get it right. Did you have to make a lot of adjustments with the Asus monitor?
@@techguygamer2023Even $1500 is kind of a steal for what you're getting. Think about it, 4k 240hz QD-OLED Glossy 0,03 ms response time monitor with good hdr 400 true black performance. Sorry for all the specs, but I just assume you know what all of this means because you watch monitor reviews.
What about the ASBL? I was forced to return the last OLED I tested because it was basically useless for coding (which takes up 8 hours a day, so it's quite important for me). It was the Acer X27U. Problem was simply, that like after very few minutes it would dim the screen to a point where it was getting hard to read the lines in my code editor, which I couldn't even fix by scrolling. I actually had to minimize the window or throw it around like a madman, so it would turn the brightness back up. For gaming it was fine in the color department, but there the flicker with g-sync on was horrendous. Currently I am on the mini-led Neo G8 from Samsung, which has none of these problems and is also a lot brighter, albeit it obviously doesn't have the same contrast / deep blacks (though it's surprisingly good when not looking at the worst scenes for this setup). IF ASBL gets "fixed" (I know it's not really a bug, but a feature) I might swap back to OLED again.

@@Shibo4201which I can also use with my consoles as it has hdmi 2.1 giving me the required bandwidth for 4k 120fps on my ps5 and Xbox series x as well as being able to use my pc on it.
What’s your point
@@Shibo4201 with a HDMI 2.1 port....
@@Captain-ChatsHis point is no point really, specifically that the ps5 and series x can't utilize the full 240hz at any resolution really. Like I said, it's not a point
@@luukherfst1209 lol, i think he thought i was just buying it for my consoles
I just wish it had DP 2.1. It would be an instant buy for me. Hopefully we'll see a review for that Gigabyte 32" 4K 240hz monitor coming out.
Is gigabyte dp 2.1
Yep the only one out of the big 4. @@AqepbxVondx
No need. DP 1.4 is doing everything
It can with Display Stream Compression (dsc). 2.1 removes the need for that.@@Shibo4201
That 90w usb-c with alt DP is a great feature! I wish the AW3225qf had that. It's got a usb-c but ony 5Gbps throughput.
That is an absolute DREAM display.
When will this model be available for sale?
ROG monitors, as always, are incredible, but unfortunately the OLED panels still don't have "fluids" in fast images, which bothers me a lot.
4K Gaming! Good review, I need a monitor badly and just waiting for these prices to come down a bit before purchasing!
This is probably like 1200 or so. The 27in is already 900. If u want cheaper then wait for the msi version
@@thecheecko thanks, I'm also watching the Inno 32" mini led monitor
I ordered the 32 Alienware one. Seeing this one is making me rethink my decision. I still don’t have it at home so I hope I don’t regret buying it.
Are u on pc or console ??
@@joaquinarchivaldoguzmanloe1073 both
Its the same panel...except not curved
@@5ean5ean22 what would u recommend?
@@5ean5ean22 Okay so if that's the only difference then I'm fine with it. I also think it supports Dolby Vision already. Thanks!
Awesome review, thank you for sharing. As far as picture quality goes, would you say this is a big step up from the 27 LG OLED monitor you had previously?
Was wondering if this was going to have higher brightness but it doesn’t seem so, like the asus Woled
If we change the aspect ratio to 24 inches, can we set 4k?
Now we have to wait for the price to be slashed by 50%.
Can you make a clip about optimize setting for game on this monitor?
i dont see any preorder button and what is the price in canada?
from what ive been told, when plug in your laptop via usbc you can't use the kvm feature while it's charging
who told you that? Nobody besides some testers have this monitor and that would be complete bullshit because every Laptop will be charging when u plug it into USB-C.
I recently purchased the LG 32GS95UE, and I’m really impressed with it. However, I realized I should have gone for a model with a KVM switch. I want to use my monitor for gaming, but I also have both a PC and a Mac Pro, so having a KVM switch would have been perfect for an all-in-one setup.
This is the monitor. I'll have to wait by the fall. It only took 4 years but here we are!!
Are you going to get a proper PC setup this year?
I’ve had my eye on this monitor since I saw it at CES. Definitely buying one on the day it launches or preordering if possible. Hands down this’ll be THE best monitor for a quite a while.
Hey, do you know if this one will be better/releasing sooner than the Gigabyte Aorus model?
personally i wouldnt buy a gigabyte monitor. they arent nearly as trusted as Asus when it comes to monitors. alot of it is just personal preference tho. ive heard the gigabyte and MSI ones wont be out until Q2 if that helps.@@Shibo4201
Any idea when this will be launching in the UK?
I was waiting for you after relaxing end
What I like about your video is you go indepth of things that no one talk about
I appreciate that!
great video! i always waited for this kind of monitor. if its under 1k€ i will buy it
I told myself, I'll buy this monitor unless I find a deal on a LG C-series that I can't pass up. I was at Best Buy 2 weeks ago and what do you know? Open box - Excellent condition C3. Been using it since, no regrets.
Why tf is your voice so relaxing
4k gaming. can't wait for this monitor. this is going to be my main monitor, when i get it. also great video.
not sure but i think lg always gave me oleds even when i buy for others
I’m curious about the color accuracy. Do the monitors come pre-calibrated? I recently used an Alienware OLED monitor, and the gamma settings were completely off. Even with calibration tools, I couldn’t get it right. Did you have to make a lot of adjustments with the Asus monitor?
Looking forward to new 32” LG OLED monitor review.
4K gaming … great video SP
What is the refresh rate in Full HD ? Can go higher than 240Hz ?
What about the brightness? It doesn’t say anything about it on the website lol that’s a little concerning
I do cover brightness too.
@@SpawnPoiint oh damn i missed it then
can u trun your moniter as a tv??? with speakers?? is there way to buy 3 hdmi ports?? for it
4K Gaming! Will definitely be ordering this when it drops.
999 would be nice..
@@rafatorr407No way this would be 1k more like either $1,500-$2,000 😂😅
@@techguygamer2023Even $1500 is kind of a steal for what you're getting.
Not bad monitor but does that buy it will change it when 50 series out since 50 series gonna use DP 2.1 that this monitor don't have
Thanks. 😎
oh, by the way, you mismatched HDMI et DP cables 11:36 😉
