Finished all 15 levels and they were amazing. I think I am a pretty good problem solver but not a good gamer so it took its time to finish them. Dough I think I cheesed level 12 not sure because I was forced to do pixel perfect jumps. But amazing work Pontus

@@rolanddolidze6897 you need to get distance between them, so you can jump the gap with them one by one.
Can you quickly explain how you fixed your issues? Like you talk about the menu not working in the build, while it works in the editor. This is an interesting problem and people want to know how you fixed it. It's just cool for fellow game devs that might encounter the same. It would be entertaining and educative at the same time. :)

It is a good gam though, but let me tell you something:
"The hard part about a puzzle is to find the solution, the easy part is to execute it"
So if I already know what to do, I should be able to easely do that.
In your game I had fun finding the solutions, but it was frustrating to do all these perfect jumps.
Fix this, and Im sure people will love your game!

Played the game. Got all the levels except one without looking anything up. Nice and simple mechanics making a nice and challenging puzzle! :D

First off, gotta say, you're videos are always top-tier, keep it up!
Secondly, level design is an interesting beast. When I made my game, I wanted to make levels that were challenging, but fair. But it's quite difficult to know what a player will find challenging when you're looking at the game through a level designer's lens. You of course will know how to solve the level (or what platforming trick to use), but the player is looking at the game for the first time and may find what you think to be good, fair challenge to be rather frustrating. I can say from experience that when I played your game, I did get frustrated by (the infamous!) level 10, and by the time I got to the levels following it, I was more prone to frustration than optimism. I don't want to ramble on any further, I just think it's an interesting discussion.

Congrats on finishing, a really interesting idea - I was wondering what the book was you used?
Also piece of advice (for anyone wanting to enter a game jam this could apply to) - Game Jams are great! But they also risk causing you to crunch, as most have tight timeframes which encourage you to constantly stay at your pc working away, it's important for a game jam to do one thing, and one thing only. Have fun! When you stop having fun with it you know you either need to stop, or take a break. It's important in these situations to make sure you're taking breaks often and give yourself a breather - Obviously they are fun, and some of the fun is with the late nights/early mornings but that is not how you should work in a normal situation so please remember that :)
Congrats on finishing again - and what I said there, don't listen to me if you don't want to! Just some friendly advice for all :)
