Bought one around 2005ish in Anchorage with a beautiful matching 4-12 Marshall cab for $500. It sounded so good at the band/party house I told the home owner to keep it. PARTYON.
I just missed a 100-watt JMP in similar condition, same year. It was $3,250. I saw it on Craiglist and thought about it for two days, which was one day too long. But guess what, that price included a matching 4x12. I'm kicking myself. Luckily, I already have a brown grill 1986 JMC 800 with matching 4x12. Paid $3,650 for that, a year ago. Will these things keep going up, after Marshall slashed their prices in America, and as digital equals and eventually surpasses analog? Replacement tubes/valves are going to become more and more rare and more and more expensive too.
@@kingsammyc Yeah. I compare tube amps to old cars. They were slower, handled worse, were noisy, uncomfortable, etc. But love for them continues to grow.
Nice shred!

SUPER AWESOME
I got a mint 2203 from 1981 couple of years back...Killer Amp
Sounds awesome, especially with the Tele and the Les Paul.
Sweet!! Aside from the treble that’s how I run my 50 watt plexi that’s had a master volume installed. Everything on 7.
Will marshall make a Jmp 20 studio amp ? I think they will.
👍
I had the same head. Was fantastic. I regret selling it.

Interesting point man! I don’t think tube amps are going anywhere, probably just going to become more of a luxury item like an automatic watch!
Sounds incredible. Great playing 🤘🤘
