Sir, just like jawari, do we have to periodically change the patri bridge of sitar. Sitar ke jo patri hote hai, kya unko samay ke sath sath badalna padta hai ? Ya Jo patri shuru mein lagaya jata hai wahi hamesha rahta hai ?
I am from Pune and have purchased a new Sitar which was sent to USA on my request(to Mr.Raj) sometime in Juy 2021. After I came to USA in Nov. 2022, I played it for about 2 months and thereafter I found the frets of the sitar became loose and are moving from its place while playing. I do not know the reasons for this. Is it due to very cold climate? The outside temp during Jan-Feb was upto -17°C. During Jan. & Feb. 2022. However our house has central heating system to maintain normal room temprature will you please guide & help in this. Thanks!
