One thing that should be understood about prophecy is that sometimes it is a warning. God sometimes speaks through a prophet to allow His people to pray for a situation. The Word of God says that He doesn't want anyone to perish but all to come to repentance. Let's do as Prophet Carns said and pray for President Obama's salvation and that God will keep him and cover him and this country and that every plan of the enemy will be cancelled. Is there any biblical example of a prophecy from God that was a warning? When did God say He would do something and then didn't do it because He was just giving a warning? Jonah's message to Ninevah doesn't count b/c God warned that if they didn't repent, He'd destroy the city. That's very different b/c there is a condition that MUST be met to avoid calamity. In this so-called prophecy, what is the condition that must be met to avoid it? When does God ever say, "Sike!" ?

I believe its way past time for Christians to exercise our authority and power in the Spirit to affect change in our nation and the world. God will not move until we send fervent petition to him and begin to live 2 Chronicles 7:13-15

Well when Whitney died, the Governor of New Jersey ordered the flag to be flown half mast during that time... This could be what the Prophet was talking about! The GOD I serve is REAL!
The man clearly said that half-mast flag was for a major politician "if you understand what the flag half-mast means...". Whitney Houston's death does NOT count as a "major politician". And also, the flag was half-mast only in New Jersey state. But he's talking about a nation-wide event.

Well there is the example of King Hezekiah. King Hezekiah became ill and the Lord sent the Prophet Isaiah to telling him to get his house in order for he will surely die, then Isaiah left. Hezekiah prayed to God and then the Lord sent Isaiah backing, basically saying that he would add 15 more years to his life. The key piece is that he sent the same prophet back, so Isaiah wouldn't look like a liar. Read Isaiah 38
