Why did we disabled the SELINUX?

while doing pg_basebackup as per your instruction it is showing that "directory exist but it is not empty" so i rename data to data1 and created new data folder and did pg_basebackup. but postgresql is not starting when i do systemctl start postgresql-15.

I am have implemented master-slave streaming replication with postgresql10, I would like to upgrade from postgresql10 to postgresql11. I am aware that streaming replication only supports the same version of PostgreSQL.
Can you let me know what are the ways to achieve the upgrade process in streaming replication?

Use pg_upgrade to upgrade minor to major versions

Why don't u use slots? It's much faster and effective. Archiving is kinda old-fashioned.
