In the film gaffer world $700 is cheap the advantage of inflatables is the weight of the panel and therefore ease of rigging, the included skirt makes it more adaptable . the most important part of any light is CRI and colour accuracy that would be interesting to test.
Really enjoyed the breakdown of this like, could be cool if it were a bit more modular so that inflating it to different PSI made it different sizes, with valves that would extend the light. Well done team!
In my world, wine reviews, it may take me a few months to eventually get to a free sample. I then to record reviews 3-4 times a year, but do a couple sessions with multiple wines. Normally one wine per episode, unless there's a specific theme. So it could take 6 months for a wine review to go live. Though I don't think I've ever forgotten a wine. May one time I did. I do have some accessories/gadgets I've had for years, still in the box, that I've not reviewed.
I just told Lee I threw away a tank of helium at the dump right before he filmed this. Unfortunately I don't think Helium can lift a panel of LED lights. It's probably still too heavy for that. -P
Funny how the average young person gets lost with a couple of real piece of black fabric - he simply cannot work out their reason being - but when it comes to look at a menu on a screen suddenly his intelligence brightens up. We will arrive at a point where we’ll starve in front a bunch of bananas because internet is down. Pardon me for the rant

Imagine being in a shoot with the client standing behind you and you suddenly hear zzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuwwwww and your soft box starts to deflate.

Now only if the make a very large panel (as as the Chimera softbox?) I think I will really find it interesting for my use case.

How bright is it?
I guess the sole purpose and benefit of this product is that it is less weight
But how much extra weight does 4 little stripbox rods add to a traditional setup? -P
Are you intending to use it for a shoot? It would be interesting to know what you think of it after you’ve used it for a shoot.
Thanks!
The should make a Mac OS version of the pro acdsee programs
I wonder if you could get this to float in the air if inflated with helium?
Helium is an "inert" gas and does not react in the presences of heat or air. So theoretically it should be fine?

This is interesting. I have to admit, they made a huge risk with this.

if it starts leakin air, jus slap some tape over the spot. xD
It seems cumbersome for no reason
I'm sorry but no color accuracy or light intensity measurements? Not even a test on a real subject? Wow. Useless review.
I love useless reviews
lol Australian power plug! 🦘
That's what I thought.
