I honestly have lost all motivation, I'm 49 and perimenopausal, no energy constantly done in,I clean a school het that done, and can't be bothered with my home,it's tidy just struggling to clean once a week,I strip beds that's it, two week cleans now, I need to sort my wardrobe out but the thought 🥴 So I just take the dog out instead 😂don't be hard on yourself xx
The peri menopause fatigue is no joke! I will say I started taking evening primrose oil and it did help me sleep better which in turn has helped somewhat with the fatigue, not erased it but made a difference ❤. Cleaning a school is ALOT so don’t be hard on yourself, you’re doing bloody well! X
Utility room looked fabulous, very satisfying to watch. Also adore your bedding, stunning! I used to get so overwhelmed by the volume and mess in some rooms, I’d put off sorting them because the task felt so big and then it weighed on me for ages. Now, I’m in a place, where I’ve decluttered, I do the one touch method to and I just try not to think about tasks as big or small, just start and work in sections as I go, not looking at a whole room that needs a clean, just break it up into a few parts. You’re doing a great job, juggling a house and kids plus a doggie, give yourself credit, everyone’s happy ❤x
I can definitely relate with the overwhelming feeling. Sometimes it’s just knowing where to start cause there’s that much to do. Your videos are so relatable. You’ll soon get back into routines once the girls are back in school. Thanks for the ‘taking a tablet tip’ you shared recently. I always struggle taking tablets and it worked a treat 👍🏻 xx
You’re not alone, I have 3 kids (none in school yet either) and my husband is away for weeks, sometimes months at a time. Everyone says things like “the dishes can wait, the laundry can wait, don’t stress it” but I can’t imagine the added stress I’d have if my dishes and laundry were piling up and my house was a mess all the time. Sometimes I think a clean house is the only thing keeping me sane 😂
I'm worn out just watching all you do😉. I used to be so fussy in my house, but as I've got older I'm much less so! Considering all you do with the girls esp when Lee is offshore during the school hols I'm not surprised you are getting tired now it's nearly the end. Start your decluttering when they back to school. I kept saying..turn that tap off when u did the utility😂.
Im honestly so glad you're back, my fave! Really loving your content. You're not alone, I feel the same. it's really hard with the kids being home, isn't it. We've still got another 2 weeks here. I feel like im constantly chassing my tail around the house. 😂 x
I love your vlog. I have two boys and the mess is unreal so can honestly sympathise with you with three kids!! When you feel overwhelmed just do one thing at a time like you are doing one room at a time. Enjoy your coffee lol
Great Vlog as always ….Have you heard of Purdy & Figg Counter Clean ….Absolutely fantastic natural cleaning product …replaces so many other cleaning products ….Honestly really works and home smells divine….xx
Love your vlogs... its so nice to see you back 😊 my favorite UA-camr ! Side note your water bills must be massive.. cant believe how much water you let run away 😂
Hello there. For the record, I think you do a bloody amazing job managing the house and life and 3 girls intermittently on your own! How much help are the girls? Have any of them inherited Lee's tidy gene? Have a lovely day xxx
I always think (just an observation!) that I would feel guilty if I knew I was home whilst I put my kids in a holiday camp if I wasn’t working (like paid work) I would love to allow myself to put my kid in a club whilst I get stuff done at home (food shop clean house maybe the gym!) on my non working day but i think I would feel wrong as It’s my day off with the kids. I know mrs m is on her own 2/3 weeks whilst Lee is away it’s just my feeling. I would just feel guilty! Any one else? X
@@marinamelling9799 absolutely not! Some children want to do the clubs- they get so much out of them. Hang with friends, new skills etc. and being a mum at home is hard! If the children are happy to go/want to go and you have the money, why not? Win win in my view
@@helen_blanketsandbooks yeah I think I need to stop feeling the guilt lol! When both are in school I think this may have to be the thing as I’ve now come to a point of burn out and can’t do as much next summer holidays! Xx

@@helen_blanketsandbooks yes that’s what I was thinking my 6 yr olds the bloody same! So on my days at work (I’m in an office!) my husband is at home working then work later to catch up (son is 4 starting school In sept so he’s in nursery!) I’m so jealous xx

I have a reoccurring alarm for 8pm every week the night before bin day to remind me as I am scared of forgetting. Usually I have already done it by the time the alarm goes off, but it’s amazing for the odd time I forget 😄❤
You are absolutely entitled to feel the same as anyone else but pls spare a thought for those of us who have all the same things going on you do inc 3kids a big house to clean food shopping etc but also are tied to a computer 9 hours a day 5 days a week as well, I cannot leave my computer unless it’s my half hr lunch because I am speaking to customers one after another and have to be ready for a call, at least you have the time to do the cleaning, have time with the kids go to the gym and tip runs, I don’t! we all do the best we can and I know this is work you are doing but it’s nowhere near as stressful as most.
