When Daniel talked about Bo Burnham, I got actual chills. One of my favourite comedians talking so purely about another favourite comedian. I love them both so much! :')

I love Daniel, but he's not wrong. The ability to mesh musical talent and comedy together brings it to a whole new level, like Dennis Leary, Tim Minchin etc.
Daniel's content is easier viewing, though.
I agree, I love them both. I got really lucky lately was in Dublin at a special screening of Eight Grade and I got to meet and get a photo with Bo, genuinely one of the highlights of my year :)

Woulld love to see them work together, but I'm not sure there would be any way to effectively mesh their styles - maybe if Daniel wrote his Fleabag-level sitcom
Not trying to be a kiss-ass, but Jack has to be one of the best "youtuber interviewers" that I've seen. Clearly does his research, asks great questions at perfect times and doesn't constantly interrupt the guest! Good work

The connection between two Bo Burnham fans is beautiful. When he mentions "art is dead" i got just as excited as Daniel
I remember Daniel shredding me in the front row of one of his gigs like 8 years ago because I had a Beiber haircut when I was 14. Then I added him on Xbox Live after lmao
making jokes about immediate tragedy is definitely more of a British thing, I picked it up while at boarding school and when I make jokes in Europe without even thinking about it and some people get insanely offended... (it's mostly germans, that might explain it...)

@@offthetrails98 I love a good Hitler joke and we do them quite often, but if I were on holiday somewhere and somebody would make that kind of joke towards me, I'd probably feel kinda uneasy, too. I can't really explain why, though. Maybe I can not be sure what reaction is expected of me.
Anyway, I guess if you're able to joke with people about anything that means, you've really become friends.

Listening to my favorite podcast, with one of my favorite comedians, talking about another of my favorite comedians. This seems too good to be true.
I remember being in the room as my grandfather passed.. everyone was crying and I couldn't help but giggle at the fact that he sounded like a coffee pot brewing coffee.. I understand the "just bc I'm sad doesn't mean I can't laugh"

@Laura Dhir Makeup And Hairstyling I've just never seen comedy structured in the way that he did this and I've been watching standup since I was a child so it totally blew my shit away. The whole "if you put a frog in hot water he'll jump out, but if you gradually raise the temperature they'll boil" thing was craaaazy good
He’s right about the alcohol I remember been off collage years ago with tonsillitis’s went out on the night drank only straight whiskey and was gone next morning

My mums partner was in hospital and they found a tumour. A couple of days later he got someone to come in and give him a hair cut. I just turned around and told him his wasting his money when the chemo is going to make all his hair fall out.
I also said it’s probably pointless to get him a get well soon card if he’s going to die, I suggested a sorry you’re leaving card.
Turns out he’s not dying of cancer, but still, had a funny few weeks until the all clear.
I love dark humour, I used it regularly during my dads funeral. 100% a type of coping mechanism too.

I have been beat, raped, molested, neglected, and one of my exes sold me to his friends, and the times I laugh the hardest is when someone who knows about all this makes an excellent joke about any of it, oh and my parents died on Christmas in a car wreck, my best friend is still having a field day with that and I love it, it makes me feel so much better about all the crap that's ever happen to me, because honestly if I couldn't laugh at it all I don't where I would be now... gotta love Daniel

I was having a pretty dark time but this cracked me up and put me in a good mood, can't help but love Happy Hour
Jack is one of my favourite UA-camrs and Daniel is one of my favourite comedians! (proud fellow Scot here lmao) Their humour meshes so well and Jack is an amazing podcast host and interviewer, Dan seemed so comfortable and engaged with the questions and has some very articulate answers! Happy Hour podcast is always a delight to listen to/watch because Jack obviously does his homework on his guests and always asks really good and interesting questions and never interrupts or speaks over his guests, even if he disagrees with them. That's a professional right there.
P.S. I would high key LOVE to see Jack do actual stand up, I think he'd be fantastic!
I went to see him live a few weeks ago, and he's great. In fact, seeing the stand up routine live was better than online.

I am watching it at work and I am so happy to report that the thing that made me laugh out loud to a degree that my cubicle mates knew I was laughing at something very not work related was Daniel at 1:03:05 . Just absolutely hilarious that Chelsea clenched the title for them. Incredible stuff.

My mums funeral was today. Later in the day, I was in my garden with friends and family minding my own business. We were reminiscing, laughing, playing games etc., because that's how we deal with bad things happening.
My fucking mental neighbour then decides to come over and complain about our "happiness", claiming that today was the wrong day to "party" and basically trying to make us feel bad for not crying our bloody eyes out all day.
Apparently she was offended by our behavior.
Fucking hilarious.
She should've heard the jokes we were telling, she would've really had a stroke.
Anyway love the interview and Daniel Sloss is a great comedian who helps me cope with my current situation.

Great film. Best film I've ever seen about shyness and social anxiety. It had a short UK run in general cinemas about the same time Endgame came out.
