FYI, the Canadian military used Kavala as its R&R centre when troops were up north in Kosovo. They got 96 hours to let loose on the city. In 2000. I stayed on the main street for 3 months in the hotel Oceanis. Had an excellent time!
What is the cost of living more or less there? How much would it cost in USD per month on average to live there and have a good quality, comfortable life?
Greece is pretty expensive compared to it's neighboring countries. Partly due to the fact they use the Euro. Look into Albania for a somewhat similar but cheaper country
