My theory about plastic defeating magic is often in folklore magic is repelled/dampened by banality. Faeries especially are powerless around or vulnerable to banality. And nothing says “boring mortal world” better than plastic.
I appreciated you guys talking about the hiding disabilities. I have Cerebral Palsy (but it’s so mild, that you don’t notice it unless you know what to look for or I tell a person) and I also felt the need to hide it. I was bullied for years especially in gym class because it was most noticeable when I ran and I felt so insecure. I myself didn’t know about my CP diagnosis until I was 12. I’m 25 now and I’m finally comfortable with my body and my limits. My husband (we just got married on May 18th) is very protective and mindful of my limits.
Yay! Thanks for making my day better. Ya know, i hope we keep seeing david deloise here on youtube. Id love to hear him talk about more. Hes so funny and jnteresting
I grew up watching Wizards of Waverly Place when I was a kid I saw David Deluise but he guest starred on a Sci Fi Show with his brothers which I think is awesome Sea Quest! For Beneath The Surface Lies the Future.
so like… if we all have microplastics in our blood or whatever now, and plastic disables magic… wouldn’t everybody’s powers have been dampened over the past couple decades?
My favourite episode. Yes. I can see why plastic is a natural enemy of magic due to the high quality human made material known as Polymers which defies the laws of thermodynamic. It's molecules combine to create a hard coating that is stronger than concrete and metal combined. It is an air tight vacuum that traps all light, making it a stable force because of n homogeneous. The substance is surrounded by a light shield nano. It is protected by any type of attack, suppressing all types of attack. Considering it was a random thing in the show, it sure makes up for it, by being realistic. It is clever. Sorry for a random thing like this. Mmmmm Disney
kinda morbid but i was always curious about “mortals” vs wizards bc that basically meant that wizards don’t die, right? so i’m assuming whoever became the full wizard lived on & non-wizard siblings would eventually perish 🥲 can you guys touch on what you think about that concept in a future episode? 😁🫶🏼
I hope you’ll be able to get Bridget Mendler sometime on the podcast to talk about her time on Wizards. Great episode as always!
That'll be awesome

15:20 Fun fact for you. The WizTech school is actually Chateau de Pierrefonds in France....the same type that was used for Merlin's Camelot.
My Mondays are always better with David and Jennifer
And Nick, Drew, Jeff, and Justin too.
I actually got introduced to Crumbs' actor, Ian Abercrombie in Garfield: A Tail Of Two Kitties. May he rest in peace.
This episode is incredible.🥰❤️ Thanks Jen and David. 😊👍🏾
Guys I can’t even express how much I love your podcasts … you’re my comfort cozy zone ❤
Happy Monday! My fav part about Mondays.

I could defeat magic with Tupperware. Need that on a shirt.
I just noticed you're wearing a KISS shirt. I like it.

Saving this for tonight I fall asleep to these now
Also that’s a compliment not an insult, if I fall asleep to a podcast it’s cuz I’m comfortable with their energy
I loved Wiz Tech
I’m a big evil dead and army of darkness fan and I just confirmed that Ian abercrombie came out in wizard of waverly place and army of darkness
Terrific video ✌️
And I didn't notice that gibby was in this episode when I watch it again
I never understood that 😂 plastic is kryptonite to magic? 😂😂😂
Jennifer 🤣😭 I’m so sorry that happened to you on the pilot
12:56 13:01😂😂😂😂
If i saw a bunch of kids in wiz texh uniforms in New York, I'd be questioning what fandom they're in lmao
🤣 when he knows the juicy set cost $150

I hope y'all get Gregg Sulkin on the Podcast
I just realized something, if Jerry gave up his powers to marry Teresa, how did he shape shift? That doesn't make sense looking back
Justin shapeshifted him. He says "Thank you Justin" which implies that Justin shifted him for the demonstration.
Are Jake T. Austin, and Jennifer stone going to be in the reboot? Someone please tell Me.😢😢
I still wonder why plastic nullifies magic
Why is the intro so long
