Koi are looking great Paul, and best of luck with your grow and show, sorry I can not be there, but I am sure everyone will have a great time, bst wishes, Tony😀
Hi Paul, looking good buddy👍 one suggestion I would make is retest it once you have checked it against a calibration solution. Although they come 'factory calibrated' they are often out by some margin. Also when you buy a solution, be sure to buy the correct one for your probe. Different meters have different electrodes. Some have a platinum probe, some have a gold probe, and you need to use a solution to match your probe👍
Not sure if it's anything you've considered using but I was running a trickle in out for a while but gave RO a shot a few years back as my tds out of the tap is 350 to 400ppm and my PH kept climbing to nearly 8.5, went with a simple RO setup which is a 3 stage 10" jumbo water purifier going into a 4040 RO filter, been using it around 2 years now and only add water after a filter clean to top it back up. I'm still on the same RO cartridge I started with 2 years ago and its had over 200,000L of water go through it, it's still produces around 2L per minute of water as it did from new and the water coming out has a tds of 6 to 10 straight off of mains pressure, would get more pump fed but tbh it wasn't worth the extra hassle and expense. My ponds tds now is between 180 and 200 depending on the time of year and I just add a cup of bicarbonate every 2 to 3 weeks in the summer to keep my PH around 7.2 during the day dropping to 7 at night.
Looking good Cashy, I can’t make the grow and show, but I’m sure it will be a great day 👍🏼👌🏼
