- If you have an iPhone and a Windows computer, not a Mac, you CAN sync your saved passwords automatically! This video walks you step by step through the hows and whys, and points out problems to avoid along the way.
You can:
Sync iCloud Keychain logins from your iPhone or iPad to a Windows 10 or 11 computer
Search, Add, Delete, or Edit passwords on your computer
Even autofill your logins on websites using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

I would like to help anyone who faces some problem when doing the same steps in the video
1. install the app like the video
2. make the passwords and keychain ON, then there is gonna be like blue option called "view in iCloud passwords app" appear
3. click on it, then it will require to set up Windows Hello (if you haven't set up it before )
4. congratulations, you get the password
Does Edge or Chrome save these passwords in Google or Microsoft personal account?

Hi, thank you so much for this video! One little detail that I have looked all over the internet for is for my own Windows 10 laptop, I have absolutely everything the same as you in this video, however, when it comes to an autofill on websites, I simply cannot get "the little window" as you call it to pop up and autofill the email address and password box on any website. (Timestamp: 7:46) I am really not sure why this is and if you could be so kind to reply I would seriously appreciate it. Maybe I don't have a setting turned on or I'm missing one tiny detail, I'm not too sure. Thank you so much!!
Oh I'm so sorry I have only just realised you were showing that for Microsoft Edge!! My fault I'm so sorry. But anyways, I still have the exact same issue in Google Chrome AND Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 desktop for some reason! Thank you!!
Timestamp: 8:48 I do not have my email address showing in the iCloud Passwords pop-up box for some reason! I only have "Manage Passwords..." and undernath it:
"Look up and create passwords"
and I can only access the list on iCloud Passwords :(
Sounds like you haven't turned on Autofill for passwords? Just google how to do that for whichever browswer you are using.
how can i bulk import passwords in keychain from windows laptop or iPhone and i don't have mac laptop ?????? thanks for the video
If you follow the video, you can sync your iCloud keychain passwords to chrome or edge on a windows laptop.
@@computersdotmom How do you get your previously saved passwords from Chrome to iCloud?
I have exported them from Chrome, but dont see an import function in the iCloud app.
@@thoan76 If you don't have access to Safari, I think you just have to recreate them, unfortunately. But it's a good idea to have that exported file in case you need to look one up. I'll keep looking for another solution and if I find one, I'll make a video!
Used to love the chrome extension but one day it no longer synced with the phone and lost all previous passwords that were saved. Has been like this for months. Many others have the same issue judging from the extension reviews.

Hi there. Can the passwords be exported? I would like to trasfers my passwords to 1password but if I am not able to export I would have to do one by one... :(

This is another great clear video. I'm looking for a way to sync iCloud and Google Password Manager because although I only have apple devices. We mostly use Google apps. Do you have a way to automatically sync these two password managers?
Thanks! The closest thing I know of is the iCloud passwords extension for chrome on the Mac. Give that a try.
Thanks so much for quick reply @@computersdotmom good thing I checked back here to see if you had answered, surely there must be a way to get notified of a reply to a UA-cam thread, but that's off topic. Actually I managed to find the same solution but Required MacOS 14 which is in Beta. Also reviews indicate a major bug. I will check beginning of October if 14.0 installed and if bug resolved. Love your clear easy videos.

Does it work for wifi password?
Good question! I don’t think so, because the passwords that sync are associated with websites, they don’t normally show up in the password list on your iPhone.

That should happen automatically if you use Chrome on the Windows computer and sign in to your Google account. If you were using a different browser (like Edge), you can import your passwords etc. into Chrome easily.

when I enter pc pin to access iCloud passwords it wont load them, what do I do? everything is synced on iPhone side
try syncing something else to your computer, like photos, to test that it's set up properly (you can always turn it off). You can also contact apple support, it takes patience but they're pretty helpful.
Close iTunes and open again
