don't change anything about the way you react to movies or shows. keep being you man and don't listen to these people saying you do have to change in order for them to enjoy your reaction. just be be your true and authentic self that's it.
Kind of ironic that people are saying you are taking the show too seriously when they are sitting there nitpicking your reaction lol I love how you and Cody just give your honest opinions, whatever it may be. Keep at it!
I wouldn't take the people complaining so much to heart. We watch you because we like you being your raw, authentic self, and you shouldn't change that for anyone! Keep being you, that's why we're here :)
One of the most shocking finales in the whole show. I also appreciate what you said in the intro Nick. I know it hasn’t been easy for you doing this show, but I think as long as you are enjoying the show that’s all that matters.
For the record, I don't mind the apologies. Its not about not appreciating the apologies, so much as not wanting you to change your reactions to the whims of the viewers. Also you guys laugh plenty!!! Thank you for your continued honest reactions.
Nick, please, don’t change anything. You are doing a great job and it’s appreciated. Yours and Cody’s reactions to FRIENDS has been a highlight for me since you started. So, ignore the haters.
it’s a sit-com that’s silly at heart but so loveable where you get emotionally invested in the characters, criticising them just shows you’re truly emotionally invested in those characters. your reactions are quality 🤘🏼
the show grasped the hearts of so many people, that some forget that characters like joey and phoebe (as much as we love them) are and always have been, silly characters lol just enjoy them for what they are 🤘🏼
The reason I love your channel and your reactions is because you’re so authentic and you’re being you. You’re doing a fantastic job on your reactions and your commentary. Please don’t change who you are. That’s why the overwhelming majority of us really enjoy your channel.
Nick is the kindest most genuinely heartfelt reactor. can’t believe people are judging you for how you watch or review the show that’s legit crazy not to mention so lame. you are doing amazing Nick, please don’t let this ridiculous nonsense get to you. Much love from Egypt. ❤
There is no one way to react to these episodes . This show was 20-30 years ago. People talked, joked and dated differently. It’s not good or bad. It was just different. You guys are viewing this show with today’s POV and that’s what’s fun. You don’t have to agree or like every part. That’s why we’re here, to hear your take and engage in friendly discussion. I think a lot of people have a special place in their hearts for this show and tend to feel protective when they hear opinions that may differ from their own. PS I know Ross is sometimes toxic but he’s my favorite!!
Personally, I really like that the two of you are so invested in the characters and storylines. Long time fans of the show love to see other people appreciate it as much as we do ❤
The amount of sitcom comments has got to be so annoying. I think you hit the nail on the head about how you are enjoying the show so much. If you reacted how people wanted you too, I don’t think you would enjoy the show nearly as much.
@@jinxysaberkThat’s pretty wild for you to think people can’t interpret shows differently. Just because the show is constantly trying to go for comedy does not mean everyone will react like it’s a comedy at all times the show presents itself as one.
Exactly. I don’t care if this is a sitcom or a courtroom drama. They can watch the show and enjoy it however they want. You can’t police somebody about how they react to a show or movie. Because it doesn’t match how you reacted. Let them enjoy the show. If they want to be analytical, great. If they wanna laugh the entire time, great. It’s their viewing. How dare people complain about somebody not reacting the way they want?
Just enjoy it the way you enjoy it. Ignore anyone who is overly critical. You guys are definitely enjoying the show, you can tell. I'd definitely recommend Fraisier for a sitcom follow-up. It was another James Burrows show like Friends, which has a great cast of characters with some of the best TV actors. It was on tv the same time of Friends and was super popular. I think you guys would love it.
No need to apologize, I’ve been watching you for 2 years and really enjoy it because your you also you watched a lot of movies I grew up with, lots of other reactors haven’t until recently so you were the first in most movies, I love your laugh and I’m glad you have your own opinions, you be you. I don’t usually have a lot to say but I hope you see this and that you’re doing well, happy holidays ❤❤❤
I think the people who say you aren’t laughing at a lot of jokes just don’t watch the whole videos. I know there has been a couple of comments but most people I assume know you guys have been laughing throughout most of this show. Especially after season 3’s finale.
The great thing about Friends is that its funny but its also got really deep storylines and plots too. So its totally fine you guys view the show in a more serious way. With that said, I can see why people tell you guys not to take things so seriously. I think part of that is also that its from the 90s so like, a lot of the jokes and humor dont really fly as much anymore with certain plots. As long as that frustration/annoyance over plots doesnt like drag on and on, I dont see the problem with being critical in certain scenes. This finale is one of my favorite friends episodes ever. Ross and Rachel were so hilarious in this episode. Cannot believe they actually got married lmao. Their story is absolutely wild haha
I think people complain less about the way you react and more about the understanding behind the characters motives. With Phobe and Joey, you have to suspend your connection to reality. This is not a drama. It's a comedy sitcom in which the characters do wacky and unusual things in order to prevent the show from becoming more like a drama series. Their silliness is instrumental in how the show works. Without it, there would be nothing but realistic, normal, and serious storylines, with less opportunity for surprises.
Please do not change your reaction style, Nick. Please keep being you. You are one of my favorite reactors BECAUSE you express all the emotions. You laugh, you cry, you get upset, you care. Don't worry about how many likes you get or try to change because of how many people question how you react. 🥰
You are awesome Nick.. Cody is awesome two. Seriously you have become my favorite reactor by far. I love how genuine you are and I love that you take the plots seriously.❤
You know the episode is gonna be insane when it's got Nick doing the Home Alone face!! 🤣 Jokes aside, I've heard that you've been getting a lot of hate for this series and how you respond to the jokes and drama, and I'm really sorry to hear that. Those people genuinely don't know what they're talking about and seemingly have nothing better to do with their spare time. As long as you and Cody are still having a fun time with it, that's really all that matters. Think about what your audiences will want, but put yourself and your wants and needs first always! ❤
Don't change the way you react 😢 I really love how real your reaction are. Your Friends reactions have been some of my favorites, stay the unique you that you are 😊❤
I'm a new subscriber to your channel due to your collab reaction with Cody for this show. Friends is one of my childhood pillars. For what it's worth, I greatly appreciate your reactions and perspectives on the situations in the show. Your thoughts on the apartment thing makes sense to me. Sometimes I like to put myself in a character's shoes and imagine how I would feel, react and even respond. So it's refreshing to see people talk about what they think of the situations beyond just the comedy side. So don't apologize for it in the slightest. You two are doing a fantastic job! And I love seeing you guys laugh. Those moments are always the highlights.
I just started watching for the Friends reactions, and I love how you guys are reacting to this show. Sure, some things, you take seriously...but I still feel how much you guys love this show. And I love how much Nick loves Ross and Rachel. They were hilarious for these episodes. Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are such great actors...and they shine in this show.
There's nothing wrong with the way you react, you're natural and genuine, if you were laughing at every single joke then you would be faking it, also not everyone has the same humour so it's not your fault at all, just continue what you have been doing. People who criticise obviously don't know you as a creator well enough, keep going ❤
I don’t know why some people are being so critical of your reactions. If they don’t like it, they shouldn’t watch. Your reactions are perfectly fine. And you shouldn’t change how you react to something to suit somebody else. Nobody wants a fake reaction. You do you, boo.
Never change your reaction style! Just be yourself! We want to see you react, not act. Believe it or not we can usually sniff out inauthenticity pretty fast. I think you are doing great as is! That's my opinion for what it's worth.
I love how Joey tested how drunk Rachell was like if it’s done and it worked on her and he told Ross to not give her any more alcohol because he knew she was drunk if she would fall for it
Tons of Friends fans have been taking the show seriously for decades now. You're not doing anything different. To this day, people argue over Ross & Rachel's break ups or Phoebe believing her mother is a cat. You guys actually enjoyed "The One Where No One's Ready" while many claim that it's one of the most infuriating episodes.
On my first watch of many of these episodes, I didn't have everyone's "ideal reaction" either. React however you deem fit in the moment and that's all anyone can ask for!
So many people commenting not to change for this show didn’t watch the whole intro. Nick literally says he will not be changing how he reacts for this show and MAYBE he might try the more sitcom approach if he does another. But he never was saying he was going to change how he reacts to this show because they are already halfway through season 9.
Hey Nick and Cody, I’ve been watching since ep 101 and because of that I’ve watched other content from your channels, please please don’t take all the comments so seriously, we FRIENDS fanbase are an intense bunch. I’ve watched friends at least 20 times and I can’t get enough of all the reactions. You’re doing amazing, just enjoy and give your honest opinions, there will always polarizing comments but just know that your opinion matters and I love seeing how everyone reacts. Keep up the great work and greetings from Mexico! PS. continue watching that 70s show, I love your reactions to season 1! ❤
I don’t think they had anything for Joey or phoebe so they gave them dumb side plots but kept the focus of the couples so they could have the fake out in the finale
*Please* don't change your approach. I love that you take it seriously. I'm one of your older viewers, so I grew up with comedies like "M*A*S*H," "Happy Days," "Mork and Mindy," "Family Ties," etc. that were technically sitcoms, but would deal with serious subjects occasionally and make the audience cry. To me, that's the best kind of sitcom, rather than just joke, joke, joke; because it makes the audience think. Don't try to make yourself laugh more when you do other sitcoms, just be natural, authentic, because that's way more interesting to watch. As for watching "Friends," depending on the episode that you're watching, it's a show that's between 20 and 30 years old, so of course, you won't get all the jokes. For example, when Ross and Rachel were dating, there was an episode where Ross was going on and on about a science topic, and the audience hears what each character is thinking. Rachel was thinking about how smart her boyfriend is and that if she squints, he looks like Alan Alda from M*A*S*H. Since a lot of us, who watched when the episode first aired, grew up watching "M*A*S*H," it was funny, but unless someone of your generation was exposed to videos of "M*A*S*H" by their parents or grandparents, they wouldn't understand that joke. Similarly, when Phoebe had the babies, the doctor going on and on about Fonzie, a character from the show "Happy Days," it's understandable that you wouldn't get the jokes, including the reference to Mork, which "Mork and Mindy" with Robin Williams was a spin off of "Happy Days." That's okay not to laugh at something you don't understand. Don't try to laugh at something you don't have the life experience to get. It'll just seem forced. As for Phoebe and Joey's lurker and hand twin plots, honestly, they always felt like filler to me, and I didn't particularly like them. On a side note, I think Cody said he recognized the actor who played 'Joey's hand twin,' it's Thomas Lennon, who has been in many things over the years, including playing in the remake of "The Odd Couple" series with Matthew Perry (Chandler) in 2015 through 2017. As for Phoebe making negative comments about Ross (and Chandler) through out this season, it started getting annoying to me, because if felt like she was drifting from the roots of her character and like the writers just didn't know what to do with her much of this season.
What kind of world do we live in where people are criticizing how much someone laughs at a tv show??? Keep doing what you are doing NICK. I watch you along with many other friend reviewers. I also cry, get mad and other things when watch friends, how I met your mother and will and grace because I can relate to things. I have empathy. Which I have a feeling you are very empathic as well as a personality trait. Especially when it comes to human relationships real or fake.
There's a little documentary they did for the first episode of season six (it's on UA-cam), you should watch it. They show how they do each episode from writing to filming, it's really fun.
Phoebe was once one of my favourite characters. However, as I've rematches as I've gotten older, i have found she gets mean in later seasons... especially to Chandler.
It’s definitely a lot of newer people to your channel. Lots of us know how you react and honestly wouldn’t expect you to think the comedy overrode the drama in most situations. I think it’s great to get a new perspective compared to when my husband and I watched it 10 years ago. We laughed consistently, but again nice to hear a fresh perspective.
As much as you feel the need to apologize, i also feel the need to tell you that you're doing a great job. You can't please everybody. If people want specific types of reactions and someone that gets all the jokes, they could record themselves and react to that. You offer a unique reaction which is your own actual reaction, and that's great.
Nick, i really like you. I've been watching you almost 2 and a half years now. I know how much you tend to be into the characters whether it be a sitcom, disney/pixar animation, etc. so i hope you dont change and keep the mindset that you are allowed to perceive things differently. Also Cody, love what you had to say but i cant agree with you on the phoebe thing. Phoebe is allowed to have FOMO. Her closest friends left her for another country; yes she was pregnant in her trimester, but she did feel left out and it literally was spoken about in an episode. I get it was Mondler's anniversary or whatever but i don't see what the problem is. Idc about the occasion, she just wanted to be apart of a trip. She missed the last one so what is the problem? She could still go, who is to say she'd be the third wheel on their date?
You react to the way you have been don't change it because some people don't like it we are here to watch your reaction not the way some people want you to react your doing a great job keep it up
Please don't change anything. It is good to be critical with things we love, that way we understand the flaws & don't excuse everything. This is so important. Also: This is authantic. I don't want you to overthink every moment of your reaction.
People that talk about not taking it seriously are the ones taking it seriously on the first watch as well it just doesn’t make sense to say it’s being taken to seriously for a comedy back then when it was fresh goofy or not people were infested in the show
We love ya Nick, the way you are! I may be the only one here but I would LOVE and hope one day to see you react to the drama series, One Tree Hill. 😆🤞🏽it’s really cheesy but, it’s my go to! As well as the show, The Vampire Diaries. 😂 I just think your reaction would be so different and refreshing!
Friends fans can be dumb at times tbh :P I was never bothered by the apartment situation, but it's absolutely valid that you were! I can definitely see your point of view that it felt kinda cheap to just take it back. I also like when you speak your mind about stuff, because it makes me feel not alone, y'know? Like the previous episode where Phoebe was really mean to Ross, I don't like it when she's mean, so I was glad to see someone else bothered by it :3 btw, I don't think most of us are "annoyed" that you apologize so much, it just makes me kinda sad that you feel like you have to.
Hey nick, i can't believe people are saying you're taking the show too seriously i love your reactions also joey and the hand twin thing you probably know by now because you're half way through season 9 but joey got dumbed down a lot so he does dumber things than that. Phoebe got meaner after the triplets were born i honestly hate how mean she is to chandler in the later seasons and ross and rachel getting married was definitely shocking so was chandler and monica almost getting married.
Those people saying that you are taking these reactions seriously are the ones taking these seriously lol i mean, are yall really that controlling that you want other people to react the way you wanted? My gosh.
Just stay true to yourselves and your process. Keep going guys, its been fun revisiting this show all along with yo guys… PS im not here for the Phoebe slander ok?
Please don't apologize brotha keep being you you're amazing. I love the videos I don't see anything wrong with them but if others do then they can go on somewhere 🤷🏻
People are so annoying. If they have an issue, they can watch the show themselves. Why are people trying to filter your authentic reaction? Smh. Please keep doing things how you feel; that's what makes your reactions enjoyable. I don't have to agree with you to get it.
I think the concern that watchers are expressing is that things done by characters are done to be outrageous, ridiculous thus funny like a phoebe mad at Ross for a dream. It is comedy not a real life soap opera. Not criticizing, just explaining what people maybe thinking.
lol Nick literally addressed that in the intro. He knows that’s what the shows intentions are, he is saying some of those moments that are outrageous and ridiculous for comedy he doesn’t find very funny. And he takes them seriously because that’s how he has always taken shows and movies.
amazing reaction as always, i have to say and sorry English is not my language I use google, do not let people define how your react to certain things i know for watching you from a long time that those things gets to you, but I’m going to be 100% honest while a do understand people no liken and having full paragraphs as to why you shouldn't take something serious... is weirder to literal still come to a reaction channel and saying that, because at that point there’s probably so many fake reaction channel’s for them to watch and they genuinely want to get a certain reaction out you, i understand from maybe the review part or final thoughts that you have, but for the most part your one of the few reaction channels where you actually keep it honest if you don’t like something, without being rude or falling into thinking that you are always right, and is even more weird when you think on the fact that everyone is different and have different experiences so they connect different to what they are watching i don’t remember which writer saying that: once you given the public your work is for them to decide how to feel about it, you can make the best defining something but if the internet has taught me something is that even with the most meticulous context a big chunk of people can and will think different, again not everyone is the same and you're not rude about it, and for that matter i was raise on the fact if you don’t like something and you have the control to watch something else, is on you for no changing the channel, i particularly say this because every time you address this is not like you are going to change your thoughts at the moment of reacting or re-record the video so you take something less serious o more serious depending of what the show is supposedly aiming for, after all that it just means that you or the show miss the mark of what was supposed to be the interpretation, you are an amazing reactor and you have brought to me countless fun times, i hope you keep being you, and no let them get to you, i mean event without talking your where able to convey your emotion just with your facial expressions and make enjoyable to watch, i think that says something, well i hope something of what translate is understandable, and event if you don’t read it i just have to write this, i feel nobody should give you a hard time like they are doing, Interestingly one of the reasons I understand English easier was because I watched Friends in English with subtitles, even though I've never been good at writing.

18:54, Yeah I Think All Of America Had That Same Reaction On May 20, 1999 When This Episode First Aired, And Really, Who Could Blame Them?
Their faces at 18:58 😱😮
This hand is your hand🤚
This hand is my 🖐️
Oh wait that’s your hand 🤚
Ya gotta love Joey 😂
So many people commenting not to change for this show didn’t watch the whole intro. Nick literally says he will not be changing how he reacts for this show and MAYBE he might try the more sitcom approach if he does another. But he never was saying he was going to change how he reacts to this show because they are already halfway through season 9.
Ppl are prob just agreeing with him in telling him not to change and showing support that he's making the right choices
Nick seems to like the show more he laughs more.
Great reactions.I loved this finale
The lurker was my coworkers grandmother. She was great!😊
Hey Nick and Cody, I’ve been watching since ep 101 and because of that I’ve watched other content from your channels, please please don’t take all the comments so seriously, we FRIENDS fanbase are an intense bunch. ❤
You can engage enough with the characters personalities despite writer's room errors. That is what makes you unique!
Ross: well hellooo Mrs Ross
Rachel: well helloooo mr Rachel
They walk different directions
I don’t think they had anything for Joey or phoebe so they gave them dumb side plots but kept the focus of the couples so they could have the fake out in the finale
Yeah, and that happens a lot with those 2 characters in particular.
Yeah they started making Phoebe a mean person even though she was the sweetest from the beginning.
Again, phoebe isn't mean, she's brutally honest
@ sometimes mean. But still, she’s my favourite out of the 3 girls!
Just remember Nick, we are here for YOUR REACTIONS!! Not the reactions of the whining comments.
Just watch it however you find best man :)
However, as I've rematches as I've gotten older, i have found she gets mean in later seasons... especially to Chandler.
me too
It’s definitely a lot of newer people to your channel. Lots of us know how you react and honestly wouldn’t expect you to think the comedy overrode the drama in most situations. I think it’s great to get a new perspective compared to when my husband and I watched it 10 years ago. We laughed consistently, but again nice to hear a fresh perspective.
i love the way you react, keep being genuine. keep being you ❤🎉
As much as you feel the need to apologize, i also feel the need to tell you that you're doing a great job.
18:50 Loved your reactions!!!!
You react to the way you have been don't change it because some people don't like it we are here to watch your reaction not the way some people want you to react your doing a great job keep it up
People need to calm down! You are great!
You guys are great. You should not change. I think your reactions are perfect, and you need to be yourself. Don't change.
And ross the divorce force strikes again
Very fantastic episode.
You do great, don't explain yourself , react the way you want to react! I love you guys
Please don't change anything. It is good to be critical with things we love, that way we understand the flaws & don't excuse everything. This is so important.
Also: This is authantic. I don't want you to overthink every moment of your reaction.
People that talk about not taking it seriously are the ones taking it seriously on the first watch as well it just doesn’t make sense to say it’s being taken to seriously for a comedy back then when it was fresh goofy or not people were infested in the show
great reactions - i have no complaints -
We love ya Nick, the way you are!
Any time I see someone say Phoebe is their favorite early on, I say, "Just wait."
I am sorry but I LOVE your reactions. People are doing too much.
19:58 well articulated, but the words 'Ross Slander' made me laugh out loud
Amazing reaction
Friends fans can be dumb at times tbh :P
I was never bothered by the apartment situation, but it's absolutely valid that you were! I can definitely see your point of view that it felt kinda cheap to just take it back.
I also like when you speak your mind about stuff, because it makes me feel not alone, y'know? Like the previous episode where Phoebe was really mean to Ross, I don't like it when she's mean, so I was glad to see someone else bothered by it :3
btw, I don't think most of us are "annoyed" that you apologize so much, it just makes me kinda sad that you feel like you have to.
If I could give you 1 million likes, I would ! You are amazing 👏
Those people saying that you are taking these reactions seriously are the ones taking these seriously lol i mean, are yall really that controlling that you want other people to react the way you wanted? My gosh.
Love this show
Just stay true to yourselves and your process. Keep going guys, its been fun revisiting this show all
along with yo guys… PS im not here for the Phoebe slander ok?
And that's all of season 5 done and dusted.
We are here to see YOUR reactions. Just be yourselves and react how you react. ^^
