  • The Liang Sicheng Memorial Hall is located in the central part of the Dongcheng Wall Belt Park in the ancient city of Datong. Covering an area of 1210 square meters, it is a dedicated museum commemorating Mr. Liang Sicheng. Mr. Liang Sicheng had a deep connection with Datong, and the establishment of his memorial hall in the city is attributed to his involvement in architectural surveys during the 1930s, which resulted in valuable survey manuscripts for Datong. Today, the preservation and restoration projects in the ancient city of Datong rely on these detailed written records and drawings. Additionally, the urban development concept of "One Axis, Two Cities" in modern Datong is inspired by the Liang-Chen proposals, providing historical and archaeological foundations for the protection and revitalization of Datong as a renowned cultural city.
