- Mats Öberg and Morgan Ågren joins Zappa on-stage during "Big Swifty" for some improvisation and to play "T'Mershi Duween", in Stockholm, Sweden, 1988-05-01. Soundboard recording.

wow! I wish I could see this...even on video. To see a child perform and experience the magic right next to his/her inspiration....WOW! Only in dreams.... and in Sweden in 1988. HA!
I was there! It was great! That night everything was Dragonmaster. When they where through, Zappa came out and said: These Guys Are Great!
I also was there at Hovet as a teen. Actually my 2nd concert watching Zappa at the very same arena. My father, who were a big big fan of Zappa took me there both times. Per, my father who were a member of swedish progband Kebenekaise also got to go to the afterparty from this show would never stop braggin about it.

@@joastra123 Nog blev din Far betydligt mycket mer än en Konsertpianist, dem finns det gott om 😅, men det finns bara en Per Lejring och han är en mycket minnesvärd musiker tycker jag 😁 med all respekt till er! 🎹🎶🎵🎶🎹

I attended that very concert - Johanneshov isstadion, Stockholm.
I remeber Frank reading (mispronouncing) their name from a piece of paper he took from the pocket. Nobody had ever heard of Mats and Morgan so we didn't get why they were there in the first place. But we enjoyed it all the same.
Looks like Zappa heard of them.
Morgan is 17 years old here folks and frsnk had just met him and Mats
It was actually Mats who was 17 years old, Morgan was 20.

I read somewhere that Zappa had planned a 1990 tour with Mats and Morgan but Frank was just diagnosed with his cancer and couldn't do it.

Indeed they did..I was 24 at the time and had money saved up to see the tour,but the band broke up before I could see them.

omg, I was there in Stockholm,,,, good ols memories! Boring mostly, until Mats and morgan came... Woooow.... For those who doesn't know, Mats (on keys) is blind.....Seen them in Zappstitut and Cabazz.....................
