The G2 runs on a 6S battery and flight time was one of the elements that was optimized from the first generation. On a 6S 1800mAh, I’m getting around 4:30 to 5 minutes with some pretty aggressive flying/throttle!
How would you say this compares to the Ultimate 3D? Or do they even compare? Seems like the Ultimate is slightly smaller yet it somehow weighs more than twice as much!
Hi! I’ve had my fair share of flights on the Ultimate 3D, and I can honestly say that even though these two planes both fly great, the Mamba is just ahead of the game. The power that you get from the 6S battery, the amazing lightweight prop, paired with the lightweight airframe makes the Mamba fly so much bigger than it is. The Ultimate also has a great power system at one cost: you can use it as a dumbbell. This makes it more prone to aggressively dropping wings during low speed maneuvers and also wing-rocking during hovering. I have found that the Ultimate does best in high energy maneuvers. The surface deflection on the Ultimate is also a bit smaller than that of the Mamba, which makes the Mamba more maneuverable. You honestly just have to fly it to believe it for this one. I love both of these airplanes, but Flex knocked it out the park with the Mamba.
@@JonsRC remove the weights in the front of the ultimate and use the carbon rear spar , saves weight, and it makes the ultimate more maneuverble , I fly the ultimat on 3.5" wheels on grass. my mamba 60 night is a class apart, a a cost ..... Flex is almost twice the price comparing to other brands.
@@Jackson27mc Are you ok? The Flex Yak-55, is 50$ CHEAPER than the HH Extra 300. Also, the Mamba is only 50 more expensive than the Ultimate, but you get a 6s, power system and a not junk plane. Another example is the Flex jet, 90mm, 8s, thrust vectoring, with great gear, for 60$ CHEAPER than the Eflite viper 90mm
@@chikenfpv7798 I live in the Netherlands ( Europa) mamba 10 is € 400 ( way over 400 $) mamba 60 is over 680 € is way over 680$ Ultiimate e flite is € 275 is 296$
Is it in good condition? If it is, then absolutely!! It’s $350 new! And, 6S batteries can get pretty expensive, so to me, that sounds like an awesome deal. Extra props are always good too 😆
Great flying, Jon. And kudos to your camera man. You guys make a great team.
Right on, love this plane, totally same impressions you expressed. Fun to watch your flying, thanks.
Thank you!
Very impressive Jon. Not even in my dreams could I fly like that.
Thank you! I'm a descent RC pilot but this plane makes me look like I have more skills than I actually do! 🙂
Boy I remember when you first started flying on UA-cam. You are pretty perfect now.
Thank you for sticking around for so long :)!
Nice flyin' Jon. Isn't it fun when rolls are so axial?
What kind of flight time are you getting? I have a G1 and flight time is my complaint with mine.

Great review!! I ordered mine, but unfortunately, it's on back order till "ETA" 10-24. Until then, it's videos and SIM. Great review!!!
Thank you!
