@SupercarBlondie Using the innovative use of Coulomb's law, levitation/flying cars can be created, all that is needed is a technology transfer from CERN's proton traps and integrating them into our transport network and vehicles! "proton-proton repulsion is orders of magnitude stronger than locally acting gravity; therefore, wheels, bearings, tracks, rails may become redundant globally, and even in a sufficiently developed state, this technology may end the era of chemical rockets, resulting in a safer space industry and a more optimal civilization" What do you think?
It’s gonna be bad. I live in one of those areas where people have grandads money but it’s leaving slow. I can so see some 40 to 50 year old child destroying several lives at the bar one night. Happens here with T Rex’s so you know.
With so many who can't control a ground-bound vehicle, they really don't need to add another variable to the crash scene!! While it seems all exciting and whatever, It's just a very bad idea. 😏 👎
False. That’s like saying a motorized cart isn’t a cart if the motor doesn’t look like a horse. It just needs to have functionalities of a regular car.
Great innovation here... I really like those models with retractable parts as it should look like a car on the road and a plane when in the sky. Also, I prefer the VTOL as well, because in rush hour where are you going to find a runway. My favourites are, Klien, Bellweather and Xpeng Aero. Also, they should be quiet. I think someone should look into powering one with hydrogen as well.
I blasted your commercial on Quora as the transformer as we were a kid playing around is it a transformer a car or a flying plane but I put it out there and I shared it. I think it’s the fantastic. I’m so thrilled and excited especially on the last car, my dad was adventurous like this, we had one of those boats that she went on on Lake Erie with only it was a car. That day it was choppy and that water was too close to the interior part of the car. We decided it was not for us, but it was very exciting to be able to go from water to land and drive or go from land to water and float. I’ll never forget that and all my days.
Flying cars are like one of those solutions to a problem that doesn't exist. Something actually good enough to be the flying part doesn't need to be the car part also.
Only one worth talking about so far is the bellwether ORYX, for obvious reasons...The rest are just reinventing the wheel...in this case the propeller...which is old and dangerous...So try again with all the rest ...I'm not moved by them
For me a flying car is a small vehicle that can drive and fly without wings or blades. Otherwise its just a plane, helicopter or large drone with wheels.
Supercar Blondie Awesome Video I think all of those Flying Cars are pretty awesome especially the Xpeng AeroCar and I can't wait to see what the future holds
The Parajet is actually a really cool design, very simple and "down to earth" (haha) but actually makes real sense and works. But I do have to say that the switchblade, at 170 000 dollars, sounds very cool - a carplane for the cost of a GTR is not bad.
You forgot the Jetson One. Also the Alef model A. It is the 1st flying car to be approved by the FDA. Even though is still in the prototype phase. It's actually looks like a regular car. For only $30,000. Doubt that sticks. But that's crazy.
You can't drive a helicopter down a street... But the Jetsons what was that sound of that car. That's the time traveling guy that knows. Someone's really been there
I like both eggs and I liked this video. Now, while you can't always have eggs and flying cars at the same time… There is room for both. So I like both.
People really forget form over function, I love to see engineering teams work towards trying to solve a problem but currently flying cars aren't feasible not because they can't fly but just hovering off of the streets and packing up your wheels isn't remotely the easiest thing to do and most of these just really seem like really adaptive aircraft
The Samson Switchblade had its first test flight in November 2023. After subsequent wind tunnel tests, the design has been improved, now having two propellers instead of just one, and the rear tail and propeller assembly now folding into the body of the vehicle for complete protection when in automobile mode. Airborne cruising speed is to be 160 MPH, top speed 200, range 400-450 miles. The engine is to be hybrid electric, with the propellers to be purely electrical in operation, making for especially quiet flight. Samson expects to go into production c. 2026.
Flying cars. Or a plane or hovercraft made out of a car. Then we have the car boat. Motorboat would be fitting. Now we just need the spy Hunter car boat plane combo burrito where it’s all wrapped into one
@@keeganoconnell2686 Id say the main difference is in the limiting factor of one (or two) large rotors and the difficulty of "driving". A proper "flying car" would be a giant drone, easy to control and with smaller propeller profile in relation to the vehicle. Also it should be overall smaller, since even light helicopters are quite long and their rotors also increase their width - so they still need large spaces overall. Also the propellers are loud, certain drone propellers can be much less noisy when designed specifically for that purpose. But most of the stuff in the video is like Phantomases flying car - just a weird plane... definitely less practical than a helicopter :-D
A flying car is like the fifth Element the movie no wheels or it don't take gas it takes Solar power yours A FLYING CAR WITH WHEELS TWO DIFFERENT A HOVERING FLYING CAR WITH NO WHEELS COME ON PEOPLE GET IT TOGETHER WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO BUILD A REAL LIFE STAR SHIP
I think until they make cars that do completely hide their plane parts, that they will be impractical on the road. Protruding parts will be a factor. Out of all of the flying cars shown in this video, only one met that criteria, meaning it can be done. The other glitch with flying cars, is that if they do become popular (which at this price point is highly unlikely) there needs to be a mandate on how and when these vehicles will be able to take off and land. So that means some sort of infrastructure that will allow a driver to pull over to some “landing/takeoff” pad in order to use the flying portion of the vehicle. This could prove a problem as well unless small vehicle airports will be available on the sides of freeways. I mean the idea of a flying car is cool. But it’s been close to 100 years, and nothing has been made that is actually practical. They are costly, there isn’t infrastructure for them to land and take off, and the bulkiness keeps them from being road worthy. I think all the companies should go back to the drawing board, and create a flying car that is more practical, less costly, so that it will be a viable product for mass consumers. This can’t be limited to a millionaire’s market.
One of the primary arguments in favor of flying cars is their potential to alleviate traffic congestion. Urban areas around the world are plagued by gridlock, leading to lost productivity, increased pollution, and heightened stress levels. Flying cars, by utilizing three-dimensional airspace, could bypass ground traffic, significantly reducing travel times and easing congestion on roads 😘🥰😘🥰😘🥰
It needs to be way more silent tho, imagine a traffic jam in the air with noise like drones or airplanes 😂 so it either needs stealth-like rotor blades, or unconventional exotic propulsion like anti-gravity (EMF) which so far is still in the realm of science fiction to the public. 🥏
A real Blade Runner style roadable VTOL flying car is being developed called the Sky Chaser. It looks and drives like a Can-Am race car, flies both vertically like a drone and horizontally like a plane, and is even amphibian. It has no external wings or rotors and uses the body as a wing. It will be both manual and fully autonomous, and will be powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, giving it hours of range. It is the 1st of it's kind, a real Blade Runner style roadable flying car. For more info see my icon.
When I think of a flying car, I think of Back to the Future and Blade Runner 2047. A flying car should be able to take off from anywhere a car can drive to... a tunnel might be a bit tricky though ;-) Out of these 'cars' only the Bellwether could be considered a flying car.
