I kind of agree on both sides about the whole singer situation but all in all it's a cracking song. I do have a recommendation that you listen to one of the UK's hottest up and coming bands "Hot Milk" with their new single "I just want to know what happens when i'm dead". I think you two would love them
New singer is pretty good. These new songs are nice! Got a few song recs for y’all! Magnolia Park - Tonight Meet Me @ The Altar - Feel A Thing Against the Current - Again & Again
I agree with Johnny! I think the thing about the vocals is when a singer has such an unique style, that kind of dictates where the band ends up stylistically. The difference between Dan and Cody I think is, Cody's vocals are too "perfect"? Compared to Dan's where his are a bit more raw and emotive. 🤷♀️
Interesting. He's a lot cleaner here than he is in Youth Fountain and you'd have thought, given the outgoing vocalist's raspiness, that he'd have kept a bit of the edge for Real Friends. On first couple of listens it sounds like perfectly serviceable pop-punk, but I do think the instrumentals lack some of the character of Real Friends best material.
Yeah that’s what I was getting at. Great vocalist. I love youth fountain and also parting ways (his other band), but when you have a vocalist as different as Dan, it’s an uphill slog. I will still jam the shit out of this though.
@@johnnyneedham9831 yeah I realised that afterwards 🤦🏼♀️ BUT if u can handle another Travis Barker feature I really think u guys would dig the collab w YUNGBLUD and Halsey “11 minutes” plus the music video is epic!! 🖤
@@johnnyneedham9831 check out *equips sunglasses* or "how do you know it's not armadillo shells?" They also have a new ep out. They're seriously one of the best pop punk bands to come out over the last few years.
It's the first time I listen to a song without headphones and I don't if there's a correlation, but I dislike this song: the vocalist is good and the band cool but I felt like there were two songs terribly bad.
You should also check out "Storyteller", it's the second track they released next to "Nervous Wreck".

Yes! The new Hot Milk song is a banger. They’d definitely dig it
When Johnny slaps his elbow off the bench🤣🤣 That really got me 🤣 I really like this song! His vocals are good 👌🏼

Think you will really like it ❤️
You should checkout the band The Home Team. Newer more underrated pop punk band, they remind of like a modern Mayday Parade
Vocally it's taken me a bit but I have this on repeat now
I actually thought they broke up. This was a bit of a shock lol, also hope cody can pull double duty because youth fountain are dope.
Cody left Youth Fountain dude
@@Braddicusfinch bruh my day is all sorts of up and down 🤣😂😂🤣
@@jacobturner8965 Hahahaha yeah Tyler has took it back to being a solo project
Cody was in Parting Ways as well if you haven’t heard them. They’re heaps good.

Fifth, not bad :) Nice song! Gonna add this to the summer vibes playlist for sure

Cody left Youth Fountain for Real Friends
Please react to the smoke breake by Kenny Hoopla.
It's gonna take me a while to get used to the new singer as the last one fit so well but very nice song

I think that’s my issue. I’m used to the grit of real friends and of youth fountain
React to Nightmare by Halsey!!!
I have to agree with jonny it’s not real friends to me, it’s a good song and the new singer is good, but Dan’s vocals just made them so much more
