Thank you so much for the Webinar Dr.Maxim Kust a question: when the height of the walls is more than the width and you do composite build-up to elevate the floor of the cavity, Do you recommend elevating the proximal margin? or you leave the proximal 1.5 - 2mm without elevation to bond to enamel?
This is interesting! Where are you located? I live in Atlanta, Georgia and am looking at what my options are to fix a broken molar. About 1/4 of it broke off the other night. It does not hurt but I can definitely tell there is a jagged edge and a piece missing and I can see it. I would rather not get a traditional crown or have it pulled if at all possible. The ceramic sounds like the safest option health-wise and to save the tooth. Do you know of any dentists you can recommend who use these techniques who are in the Atlanta area?
HI! First thank you for the informative video! Quick question, for those of us without sand blasting equipment in the office, is there an alternative method to this step?? Thanks, Michael
So you never ever do crowns and endocrowns? The over reliance on IDS is scary like the last case you've shown. Do you do IDS before or after endodontic treatment?
Awesome explanation sir. Plz post some video regarding tooth preparation for onlay or overlay preparation. Thanks a lot for clearing the concepts.. Gratitude..
Really enjoyed the webinar! But i have some concern about the first cracked tooth you showed. From my perspective the thickness of walls in distal part of the tooth are thin +the crack, according to what you say the material will give the occusal force on the tooth walls. So won't it accelerate the crack? Besides it went deep. Wouldn't it be better to resume the height od distal walk and distal cuspa in this case?
Thank you , -another amazing tutorial, quick question for these onlay/ overlay cases do you prefer to take a traditional silicone impression, or do you think that a digital scan with primescan and restorations made on printed model would have similar marginal integrity, the reason I ask is I would like to check the occlusion on an articulator before cementation, ,
Do you tac cure? If not give it a try. 1 sec cure each side, remove with scaler, clear contacts with floss, cover margins with gylercin then full cure, remove any left with ultrasonic scaler and polish accessible margins. Protocol seems to work well for me :)
Respect to you. I love seeing people who are passionate about what they do. I’m not sure if dentists know how important their work is.
This really is an didactic masterclass.

Thanks! Now I only scan
The info here is crazy good! But what cement do you recommend for a total etch technique? I use variolink dc, but removing the excess is a real pain!
