Maytag did this with their impeller washers. Which I don't see what that even does or how it is even effective ? The wash plate should be pushing the clothes out. ?

The whole impeller thing is just a fad. Customer see a big tub and go "hey, that fits so much more than what I had". Some then discover that certain loads don't come clean at all. I find that disgusting. Sweat and crap not actually getting washed. OH, some loads get washed ok, but depending on what and how much you load, it doesn't get tossed around very well. A large blanket can prevent other clothes from getting attention by that bottom "moving" massage plate.
Plus also, those tubs no longer fill all the way. What's the point then of a large tub, because you can only fill it half way - or else it will see that much worse tossing around action.
Midea is just copy catting what the other have been doing, because it's the trend.
The only decent washers now, are what seems like the slightly smaller tub ones that fill all the way, no impeller, dual agitator action. Example is teh 4516 (not 4519) Amana, which comes as different brands also. Once you see the blade action on the agitator, you can recognize the other ones.
Impeller is stupid, period. No sales person can argue their way out of it. No amount of "sorry you feel this way" or whatever other passive aggressive bullshit can change it.

The spring on my lid broke off, how do I put it back? I am in Vista California. Can somebody recommend someone fix it or can I have a schematic?

So desperately replacing the proven agitator I find so very stupid! Sorry, I'll stick with the SQ TC5, something you Midea boys will never approach !
