Railfanning Union Pacific Sunset Route in Arizona Part 1 March 2024

In Mid March, my dad and I took another trip back to Arizona. We did the Union Pacific Sunset Route from Maricopa AZ to just east of Tuscon. The UP Sunset Route is a former Southern Pacific property that runs from New Orelans LA to Los Angeles CA. This portion sees roughly 30-40 trains mostly consisting hot intermodal trains and mixed freight traffic. Though Grain trains, auto rack, and military trains can be seen as well. This is Union Pacifics main route through Arizona and we will see a good chunk of trains. Enjoy!
