Seabreeze @ Mainland 10 28 2022

The Mainland Buccaneers football team hosted the Seabreeze Sandcrabs on Friday, October 28 and won the game by a score of 51-22. The game started out evenly, with both teams scoring one touchdown in the first quarter. Mainland took off in the second quarter, scoring double digits for each remaining quarter.
Mainland was led offensively by senior quarterback Damarcus Creecy (#4). Creecy recorded 284 passing yards, resulting in 5 touchdowns. He also rushed for 144 yards. Junior James Randle (#6) recorded 130 receiving yards, contributing 2 touchdowns to the Bucs’ win. Senior Ajai Harrell (#1) also had 2 touchdowns, while juniors Jackie Bowdry (#19) and Lawal McCray (#11) both contributed 1 touchdown.
For Seabreeze, senior Sam Gonzalez (#4) led the Sandcrabs’ offensive effort with 206 total yards and 2 touchdowns. Senior Eli Campbell (#1) recorded 110 yards, 1 touchdown, and 9 tackles. Sophomore Brogan Kelly (#17) also had 9 tackles for the Sandcrabs.
The HS Sports Player of the Game is Damarcus Creecy.
