Father Lopez Football Defeats Taylor at Home
The Father Lopez Greenwave football team hosted the Taylor Wildcats on Friday, November 4 and won the game by a score of 36-6. Father Lopez was led offensively by sophomore Jackson Oldham (#2) who recorded 210 rushing yards, resulting in 2 touchdowns for the Green Wave. Senior quarterback William Tucker (#9) passed for 201 yards, and found senior Cayden Allen (#7) in the endzone on a pass, resulting in a touchdown. Allen scored a touchdown on a punt return as well, recording 2 touchdowns in the Green Wave’s win. Senior Jonathan Brandt (#3) had a sack and an interception that led to a touchdown. Junior Boston Milligan (#32) held it down on defense for Father Lopez, recording 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The HS Sports Player of the Game is Jackson Oldham.
