I finally arrived in San Francisco💗
I'll be staying here for a month :)!!

Ik! Especially growing up in the Bay Area it’s rly interesting seeing ppl from outside the country. Especially since foreigners seem to have better assumptions abt the bay compared to ppl from other states😅

@@حسناحسنزاده Unfortunately you get all that negative information from the news media, they rather show bad news instead of upbeat and positive news, that’s how the news media has been forever! But honestly you have nothing to be afraid of because nothing will happen to you. I’m from California and I love it here. We have the mountains on the East side and the ocean on the west, and a lot to see and enjoy and so many people I know have never been attacked or shot at and wherever they go visit a place in the U.S., they come back home safely. A lot of countries have their own crimes that can be just as dangerous to anyone living there or to a foreigner. This guy from Australia went to Egypt for about a month, just to explore around, he got attacked by several people from Egypt and almost killed him with their fists and kicking him just because he is blonde and blue eyes. We hear things about bad people committing bad crimes or killings in other countries, too. My husband and I go to San Francisco a lot for the past twenty years and nothing bad has ever happened to us, not even at night when we’re walking around the city. So don’t believe everything And look at her, she’s in San Francisco all by herself and she was safe. Unfortunately when crime like that does happen, it’s mentioned on the news too many times. Plus, people from all over the world travel to America to go sightseeing or even to live here for work or school. All you can do is pick a city you want to see, bring friends or family with you so you will feel safe. I’ve been all over the U.S. and I met the nicest people and saw some beautiful places.

I don't know if your still in San Fran, but check out the road that's super steep and those victorian houses in a row next to a park.
You could go down to San Jose and check out all the tech campuses. Apple, Google, Netflix, Facebook, etc.
Oh and obviously the Golden gate bridge and the Bay bridge. North of San Francisco is Napa Valley where you can try out wine, And you get a better view of the mountains.
Edit: i also forgot about that one victorian house in San Jose with doors that lead to nowhere

SF is known to have one of the highest non-violent crime rates in America, and there’s been a rise in violent crimes over the past year, especially against Asian Americans. Sad but true 😔 I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around SF alone at night
I came across of the asians overseas who are treated brutally shit in the US, I hope they will stop it. The day I heard that news, my love to US went so low. I was disappointed after looking up to that place while growing, come to find out people their are so... pardon me I dont mean to be rude,, butthey only want white people to white people and think that they are the master race. I hope that perspective of thinking change, but as what I see in the world it hasn't changed for how many decades/centuries now.

Sadly no matter how much the U.S. has gone through and witness as far as minorities are concerned the country has a large population of racists in the country, we can’t even say that there is a city that is free of racism. Even cities with large populations of asians are being attacked. If we aren’t part of that minority or haven’t experienced if for ourselves how can we not tell someone that they don’t have to worry? Especially people who visit from other countries, most of the news they hear about the U.S. concerning racism, whether it be from sources you personally find credible or not, has not been showing the country moving in a positive light.

Love learning all the differences between Korea and US! It is so tragic and sad, however, that she has to worry about a hate crime. What has our country come to, we used to be a beacon for Asian tourists and now people are afraid to go out (and horribly they have to be), so sorry for the state of things.

@@lisavanderpump7475 yeah, this whole time you would have to apply for an exemption to leave the country, but you would have to be gone 3 months or more. I couldn't do that because of my job. However on the 1st of November the borders are opening for vaccinated people! So thats good

I visited San Francisco once and coming from a person who went on solo trips, can I say that I have never few unsafe in my life. Some places there are aren’t safe at all. Some more I was with my friends. 😭 So the fact that you went there alone. Kudos!

Oh it made me nervous seeing you use public transportation. Sometimes its really not safe especially if you’re alone or a foreigner. And yeah…. American hotels arent as great as the ones in asia but its cool you visited the states! Im sure you saw a lot of…. “Interesting” things in San Francisco lol. Theyre going through a lot right now especially with their homesless problems which is unfortunate because San Francisco is a beautiful place
