The Southern accent is more throaty, while the upstate NY accent is more nasally. People still get confused about where I am from or can tell straight away that I am from up North.

I work at a haunted house attraction, and when we're all done, my friends(co-workers) and I usually go to restaurants still with our make-up and blood on ourselves. I love it. Especially going through drive thrus or gas stations. AND don't get me started on the drive home. Scaring people who drive beside us.
