South of Cancun aout 1 1/2 hours, Secrets Akumal is situated on the white sand Akumal Beach, we left us wanting for nothing. From the great food, amazing service, and snorkeling with the sea turtles, it was an extremely memorable trip!

what's the best all inclusive you have stayed at ? going to book somewhere this summer for our 20th anniversary
Some of our top favorites so far have been Secrets Moxche, Secrets Cap Cana, Secrets Playa Mujeres, Excellence Oyster Bay, Excellence Playa Mujeres, and Secrets Wild Orchid.

What month did you visit ? And do you prefer here or moxche?
We went in September, and the weather was great! They're both amazing resorts, and you can't go wrong with either of them. Akumal feels like a high end traditional Secrets resort, and Moxche feels more modern.
how would you describe food and beach at Secrets Akumal compare to Secrets wild orchid?
They are certainly different resorts, and both offer great experiences. With that said, we would say that the food and service is better at Akumal, but the beaches are better at Wild Orchid. The beach at Akumal is a public beach, so anyone ( and any age) can come in and set up for the day in front of the resort. Mexico is also an unfortunate victim to the seasonal seaweed, which is bad around April - Sept, but Jamaica seems to not have that issue.
Is the fishcakes part of the ai resort
Yes
Resort looks good but the seaweed put me off .
The resort is amazing! The seaweed can be bad, but it all depends on the time of year.
