Good one.
Thank you Tom. Glad you keep on watching.
I will be there next September. Two of my great grandparents came over from Croatia and I'm looking forward to learning about my heritage. My great grandfather's first name was Rok! Can't wait!
That'll be a wonderful trip - the sights of Dubrovnik + getting to know your lineage and history aswell! Hope it goes well for you.
A great video. Very clear with your descriptions and the maps views were exceptional! Flying to Dubrovnik tomorrow. Had watched several videos to prepare but yours was the most concise and informative really. Thanks!!

Love Dubrovnik from Bangladesh
Cheers to Bangladesh
I've always wanted to visit Croatia, and as a fan of GoT I definitely want to visit and see the filming locations. Love the secret passage to the cliffs down to the bars. Thanks for all of the great information nd the tour around the city!!
Thank you. Yes GoT Tours are extremely popular. I remember couple of years ago, you had to book them weeks in advance. Hopefully next year everything will be back on track to good old days, once pandemic is behind us.
WOW ITS STUNNING DIAMOND AMAZING COUMTRY OF CROATIA OF DUBRONIK .
Yes it is.
Thank you brother 🍷 for promoting Croatia 🇭🇷
Great video 👍
Beautiful country.
I agree... the tough history it's had with war and all, opression! God bless You! ❤
great video bro keep it up
Thanks for watching and supporting.
Amazing King's Landing ❤🏛
Lovelly! ❤❤❤
Thanks 🤗
I am here now and this is a great tour! I learned many things. I need to find that stone to balance on :)
Waaa, you are lucky. It is easy to find it as it is on the main street, next to the entrance to the church. Enjoy beautiful Dubrovnik.
You are such a guide help for orientating and get the important historical landmarks I would not get at first alone,
Visiting Dubronik and love the vibes 🇭🇷🇭🇷Croatian top one
@@rokgoesaround Greetings to my family
My son and I are planning on going in October.
I wish you a great trip 🤗
Awesome video! The map shots and explanation of the main street is exactly what I needed to help plan my visit and to figure out where to book accommodation. I'm planning approx. May 7thm 2023 for 6 nights in Dubrovnik before heading to Korcula, Hvar and Split. I prefer cooler temps for walking lots, (22-25 degrees) and not too crowded. Would this be too early in May?
Thanks. Glad it helps. I wish you an amazing stay 🤗
"Would this be too early in May?"
Nope. Dalmatia in May doesn't have cold days. It might get to 30 C and it might have rain but mid spring temperature is usually perfect for walking around (lower-mid 20's). My favorite part of the year.
Thank you for this very informative video. We just arrived in Dubrovnik and will defo check out all your recommendations. BTW, what can u recommend to see outside Dubrovnik? We have a car so anywhere worth going within an hour drive ? Our car doesn’t go to Bosnia though.
Thanks. So nice to hear that. If your car can go to Monte Negro go south to Kotor. Drive around the entire bayof Kotor and visit Kotor town as it is really spectacular.
Thank you so much for this informative video. All your videos are. 👍 We will be visiting Croatia for 11 days. We still have to plan were to go. Will use Zagreb airport, but wish to visit Dubrovnik because there is so much to see. How many days do you suggest we should stay? Thank you so much for this video, keep it up
Thanks 🤗 I think you will find the best answer in this video ua-cam.com/video/ul3lA3ekN_M/v-deo.html
Have a great trip.
What was the name of the first fort you mentioned in this vlog? ? A very good review of things to see in Dubrovnik.
Great video and clear.how we can hire u for giving guided tour.
great video! but rare sunglasses reflection, can’t help looking at them 🤪
Thanks. Trying out some new matt shades ;)
Really enjoy your videos. You elaborate so well. I will visit Croatia this summer for the first time and plan stay at Dubrovnik for 3 nights. For the first timer, do you recommend staying in old town or outside?
Thanks. Glad you like them! I prefer to stay outside the walled city. I explain the reasons in this video ua-cam.com/video/JW3FzlnaX0s/v-deo.html
@@rokgoesaround good advice! After viewing your video, I booked one in Ploce - amazing view, come with the price of stairs climbing. I would make this trade all day long. Thanks again for the awesome videos, best on YT.
Love the video and the narrative. I must go with my mother to Croatia , Montenegro, and then Italy. How are things now in 2022. Is everything open for business? Do you have a video about Montenegro and one of Italy? Please advise. Thank you kindly.
Thanks. Now is buisness as usual. I have many videos of Italy. Check them out. All the best.
Excellent video! We are visiting Croatia on a VBT tour at the end of September 2022 and staying in Dubrovnik at the end of the cruise Oct 10-12th The weather looks to be colder - have you visited Dubrovnik at this time? I am curious if there will be any seasonal closures we should note.
Thanks. The heat will be gone, but it should still be nice and warm, maybe even warm enough for a dip in the sea. All attractions should still be open. I wish you a great trip.
@@rokgoesaround Thanks. We are excited to visit.
I’m from Scotland , your country is beautiful , I tried to find Dubrovnik Celtic supporters club there, but had no luck
Haha 🤣 Thanks for sharing your story.
Great video...how we can contact you?
Do you still do guided tours of Dubrovnik? How can we contact you for next year?
Only local guides are allowed to do tours around Dubrovnik and I am not one of them.
Looks ok, but surely it's just beaches, and old buildings and history and nice places to eat and relax and great views ?
which hotel is best to stay in Dubrovnik? Close to old town and other attractions and also on the beach.
At the moment Air Bnb has by far the best deals in Dubrovnik. There is a long tradition of people renting apartments to tourists so there are many great options. If budget is not a problem I would advice either Hilton Hotel or Hotel Excelsior, they are in the best location.
@@rokgoesaround Excelzior ima fantastičan pogled,,
How can I book you, will be there in OCTOBER
Unfortunately I am fully booked. But don't worry I am always with you on your phone 😉
Any other guide recommendations
How many days should you stay (minimum).
Thanks for asking. Actually I made a video what you can see in 1 day, 2 days and 3 or more days in Dubrovnik. I think that video gives the best answer. Here is the link ua-cam.com/video/ul3lA3ekN_M/v-deo.html
The best time of the year to visit is June and September. Not to hot and not to many tourists.
Where live brother
I greatly enjoy your videos. However, the scene from Game of thrones is highly offensive and unnecessary. I'd like to share this video, but that scene prevents me from doing so.
In regards to the rest of the content I greatly appreciate the information you provide. Thank you for your hard work in putting it all together so well.
Sorry to hear that. I will consider it nex time. Thanks for enjoying my videos.
This town was called Ragusa until the second world war and was part of the Kingdom of Dalmazia, part of Austria
Take off your glasses.
I film most of the time outside on the sun. If I want to have my face properly lit I have to stare directly at the sun and that is why I have to wear sun glasses. If you look my videos that are filmed in the studio you will see that I am not wearing sun glasses.
@@rokgoesaround Like your photos, information, and voice. We do not need to see your obscuring head.
This is the old town or the Republic of Ragusa, an old Italian town, later renamed Dubrovnik after the Jugoslavian occupation in 1918.
Your history is completely wrong my friend.
@@rokgoesaround let him go, he's just a jealous little Italian🤣🇭🇷💪
