This vid, especially the latter half, just shows what OW has devolved into. You don't pick the characters that are fun or that fit your play style and win. You ultimately pick the easiest, most mindless characters and comps to ease a win. Unless the other team beats you to it...

Well to be fair, the community is what makes the game. If most of the community wants this or that, that is majority feedback. And to be honest I genuinely agree with them. Perm invisibility should not be in a fps shooter with a 5v5 format with the removal of 6v6. Especially when they have another escape tool on a 6 second cooldown which cuts their invisibility passive cooldown in half and can render other people basically useless. Sombra will always get the first shot, especially when you get hit with Virus first, you’re basically dead, She’s a no risk high reward character, and you can’t even hear her footsteps when she is invisible which allows her to always be “two steps ahead” or in other words, get the first shot. And no im not saying Sombra is op or anything, im simply just saying she is very unhealthy for the game and is not fun to go against. This is why she needs changes, not flat out nerfs.

@@lev1eye628 they already have addressed that. That was the whole point of the video was to show that sombra mains need to hack before virus due to the damage over time nerf.
If you thought it was bad, don't look at the latest dev blog. Invis sounding like it's next on the chopping block
there's not much they can do to make it bad besides idk increasing the detection radius
they need to compensate her in some way but good! it removes skill from the character because you can go wherever whenever at no risk.
See, we’re actually excited for invis to be on a timer. Interested to see what they come up with

@@knyt0 no no no, remove virus, put more enphasis on the hack again, make stealth an ability on like a 6 second cooldown (like a moira fade or something with more latural control)

Gotta thank the overwatch devs for helping me cure my overwatch addiction that has gripped me since 2016 with their absolute DOGSHIT decisions. Relationship ended with sombra now the Emperor of Mankind is my new best friend.

I’m a flex dps I can any character and have played every iteration of sombra. The game shouldn’t be balanced around people who don’t know how to play it. Like yourself obviously.

The bright side is stealth finally getting a timer so sombra can finally be good
Just thinking, they didn’t have to nerf damage, just make it tick slower, so then there is more opportunity for healers to help them or get a health pack etc, that maintains the damage total, but makes it 15 health more survivable.

Yeah honestly if they go through with these changes idk if I'll play ow as much or even at all anymore. Tired of the characters I like getting random unneccesary changes because of whiney complainers who have no desire to increase in skill.
I main Skull Merchant in DbD and the exact same thing is happening. She is like B tier and is getting nerfed so hard into the ground because they are listening to the whining playerbase.

The "day" sombra was ruined was the day of the rework when they made stealth a passive an no one fought back on it. You should all know Blizz better by now. It was writing on the wall.
Every UA-camr said it was the best rework now months later all of them are crying about it

Sombra is the most fun I've ever had with her, except for hack + virus combo. I think the difficult part is that her kit lends itself to "feels bad" moments. She has had a constant identity crisis since her release by nature of being invisible. Guess we'll see what they're cooking this time. I also don't like that she gets nerfed whenever she starts performing well. She's just like Sym 😭
Dva is in an insane state right now imo no idea why they wanted to make her the strongest tank in the game

I think there is some weird irony when i sub to your channel today because "Ive seen quite a few of his videos, maybe i should finally sub" was a thought i had before i pressed the button because i wanted to see more sombra content, only for you to immediately mention you will no longer play her.
Big things ahead, i did exasperate a little so that the expectation that I'm a sombra one trick is lessened I won't lie

Echo's aim is so much different than Sombra's.
Same with Tracer.
Soldier is the Closest Mechanically to sombra, at least as far as aim goes

While true, You still need them. And Since you're leaving sombra for someone who's Kit Will, By the way, Not include immediate transportation or Invisibility no matter the choice, It's probably easier to switch to someone who has the One portion of the hero left over

@@thelividdeads nah the movement maneuverability and map knowledge transfers over well. And sombra's optimal range is similar to tracer, just slightly longer. Her falloff range is way shorter than soldier's. If i was gonna translate those skills, it'd be to the two characters that are consistently strong
Well I’m quitting the game then, I loved sombra simply because of her movement all the other characters in the game are slow. It was fun while it lasted tho. I have no complaints since it is their game but I know this patch is why I deleted the game.
THEY TEASED A REWORK WHERE STEALTH IS ON A TIMER JUST COME BACK NEXT SEASON
@@Questron01if it’s a rework then I’ll try her out again when the next season comes out until then though I’ll be dropping ow. She’s the perfect character for a solo player and with a game so team reliant other characters become boring when your team keeps rushing in while disregarding team play.
This is why I quit. To anyone reading this, just leave OW. I know y'all are only playing because it's your comfort game, trust me, it's better when you cut it out
Nah, I'm not a one trick so I'm fine with it. There are dozens of other heroes I can play still. One trick ponies leaving the game is always a good thing tho, so I support your decision 👍
@@itikuekuek I'm not a 1 trick, I main support actually. "This is why I quit" is refering to their balance philosophy, not sombra... It's not about what they do to one char, it's about the game trajectory

The day Sombra died was the day they reworked her TL!!! WHICH YOU ADVOCATED FOR AND WERE PRANCING AROUND LIKE IT WAS GOD'S GIFT TO ALL THE LIL SOMBRA MAINS AROUND THE WORLD! YOU HELPED RUIN THIS HERO! Ain't no fucking way we are going to forget that Questron. And certainly, don't try and change the narrative and say it was this patch. You don't get to do that until you own up to your mistake. Say it to all the Sombra mains that looked up to you because you let them all down.

Im gonna be honest, on pc sombra isnt very good but i played PC and Console to see how people play and on console its annoying to play against sombra. You go something like widow bc it is your best character and you headshot someone only 1 time they go sombra and only hardfocus you the whole game, thats where i think perma invisible is a bad thing bc with it sombra can easily spawntrap someone the whole game sonce you cant turn fast enough with a controller, thats where i give the pc Community credits for not beeing some ego wanna be's
If you spawntrap someone , You're making it a 4v4 . you are literally removing Yourself and that other character from the game, which is awful. You're losing SO much value just because you got salty. If the widow is doing very good? YOu counter her.
Same as everything else in the Game. There is no skill-based countering, only hero-based countering All the way up the ladder. Which is why this might be my last patch. Nobody's out to have fun anymore.
I pick my Hero , And I stay that hero the Entire game, and I consider it a Victory if I force them to swap ( I.E breaking their mental )

Naw it’s just that she’s gonna be trash now. She’s already a character that dies fast. Her main movement ability has already been nerfed, shes an up close attacker that if she hits her projectile is not always a guarantee kill and she’s practically useless if the whole group team stays group together. Yea I can play the other characters but their slow as fuck, snipers are fun but sniping in call of duty is funner so ima quit ow, I’ll join back if they buff her again or if they add better movement characters. Regardless it shouldn’t matter anyways it don’t seem like ow cares about the sombra players so why should they care if we delete the game now. I’ve enjoyed my time on there but now it’s time to drop the game and allow others to enjoy it. This patch is why I’ll delete the game.

@@thelividdeadsIf shes ever been it lasted tops a couple of weeks. Before being nerfed to the ground or making her mechanics take double the effort to secure a kill. And then the cycle continues. Buff-players complain-nerf/rework-players complain-nerf.
