Yeah this is what happens when we did things like Affirmative Action in the past, and then never did anything else thinking that solved the problem.
We need to legislate certain things, and not assume ancient fixes are good enough for modern day. Legislation to make it illegal to prioritize any group or ethnicity or whatever, just make it illegal to discriminate period as a reason for job denial, that way straight whites aren't suddenly part of the "bad window," group... Because no matter what these people think, having white people in your company too, is in fact, diversity. Diversity shouldn't be hiring unqualified people to make your team picture look more "colorful," it should be further than skin deep, diverse ideals and backgrounds to bring new perspectives, things like that. Not hardlineing to one groups desired ideology and calling the different skin colors diverse, that's just racist and only ever looks skin deep.
What pisses me off is that now there is this constant line drawn where we can be "racist and bigoted" or say the wrong thing... back in the day we said mean shit in an endearing way and learned to like people for who they were regardless. You were a battle buddy regardless of skin tone and now it feels like there is this constant elephant in the room. I feel constantly forced into check boxes because of how I present instead of bonding with cool like minded people.

For woke activists, I've been using the internet since 94 and computers since the early 80s if you don't like being criticized for ruining the things I enjoy such as gaming and films then you need to stay away from games, films and the internet altogether. I'm also GenX and have no problem with calling out the woke BS while also not only don't I care what you have to say regarding this, but I consider it a badge of honor for every time you get salty about it.
