The level of kindness from strangers taking time out to take footage and share it with you Seth is a testament to how we all value your genuine contribution and dedication to running in general. I get massive inspiration from you - thank you!
Just loved what you did with this vlog from the music to the pace and imagery. We felt like we were in the marathon with you at so many crosswalks in NYC. Well done. And ehem ehem, awesome work, holding down the fort True Love. 3 littles and pregnant with #4, that ain't no cake walk either. Cheers to your own marathon at home!! I know what goes in to helping your guy run in stride.. literally in your case!
You are a real life superhero, taking the running world by storm and capturing our hearts and imagination. So well deserved and I can't wait to see what the coming year will hold for you and your beautiful family. Also a big shout out to The Run Experience for a great live stream and giving a very respectful and honest depiction of Seth as a runner and his channel👍
@@SethJamesDeMoor Ran my first half marathon yesterday (1:53:38) at age 43. Had a lot left at the end because I started very slow, could have done 1:45 I think. We'll find that out in 5 weeks. Your channel has been quite helpful, both for advice as well as inspiration. Cheers.
Absolutely! Curious though, your success and Channel are growing like crazy after Amsterdam and now New York. What are your plans to keep up with this success and maintain such focus and discipline, strenuous training regimen and have enough quality time for true love, the 3 boys and the little one on the way, all the while editing and releasing a new vlogs every day? How do you do it?
Wow, this footage was amazing. You have such a great network built. Getting that many people to find you and send you clips? AND all calling out the keywords we love so much?!? That was so fun to watch. You continue to impress me - WE continue to impress me. Nice work Seth, keep it up!!!
I am amazed with all the runners that you were running alone often. I thought it would be more crowded even at your fast pace. Congrats. Job well done. As the wise man said: The marathon is halfway over at the 20 mile mark.
@@ClintSevilla You can get a bunch of people in the 2:20 range, but they are typically the elite women (and their pacers) who get a different start time in big races. So as a sub-elite male, you're stuck alone.
You had the energy to throw your arms up when I saw you on 59th St! Your energy by that mile was incredible! I sent you the clip on Instagram. Congrats Seth!
Seth! Found your channel recovering from an injury and your positivity has brought me so much joy during the recovery process. Going to carry that with me and keep seeking beauty and workin hard as I get back on the road. ✌🏻
Amazing result, Seth!!! Well done!! The photo with your mom is the best part!!! 36th overall! Don't be surprised if some top coaches come knocking on your door soon enough! The sky is the limit baby!!!!
This made me cry! What an amazing support system you (and we) have in Demoor Global Running. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I will always be rooting for you
Well done Seth! Great effort and great vlog, New York really looks like an amazing marathon! Btw Michel Butter was chasing olympic qualification which he missed by 8 seconds 4 years ago. But in NY he had the same issue as you in Amsterdam, he was expecting the elite group to split in several groups but they stayed in one pack so he had to decide stay with the elites or drop back and go all by himself. Elites were going too fast and he stayed with them to long and pushed too long to keep the gap small when he dropped back. He had to slow down and go at it solo but burned to much energy at the beginning and was basically done after 25K. Muscle cramps caused him to slow down even more, he said the last 10K were torture.
Wow. I was tracking Michel with the marathon app and was amazed at how fast he was running the first half of the race. Then I noticed his splits were getting about 50% slower and figured something bad had happened. He must be pretty tough to fight through the pain. I think I would have just hopped on the subway and rode to the finish line. :)
Well done, Seth! You are a hero! I cannot believe how much traffic you had to deal with at the beginning. They need to move you up at the start. Anyone who has run a sub 2:30 has earned some space from us turtles.
Man you are a legit marathoner! This was awesome!! I have always been a 1:40 half and 4 hour marathon guy...ultras and trails are my love. Again well done..wow!
Just amazing! It was again very exciting following your run. Excellent result just two weeks after Amsterdam. Keep on going with your way. We will follow.
SO EXCITING SETH!!! You did it for Mom! I bet Brigid and the boys are so excited to see you and celebrate! God Bless the DeMoor family & congratulations!
Because of you...my love for running is even stronger! Your vlogs are amazing! Thank you for taking us in this journey. I hope i get into NYC 2020. Cheers Seth!
Amazing. I am about to run my first marathon. I will be blessed to finish. I am getting excited. I am going to run cim. You are definitely a beast out there. Thank you for sharing
Good job! Amazing to run two marathons in two weeks and your time is amazing also. Your mom and yourself are an inspiration. Keep up the good work! 🎊🏃♂️
@@SethJamesDeMoor I hope that you got less muscle soreness than I experience today! Ran the Soweto Marathon on Sunday and very sore quads today! I am just a social runner, started at the age of 59 with running, but really enjoy it. Managed to run a few marathon this year and first Comrades. Will run the Comrades also next year 2021 (back to back medal is what I must go for). Was fortunate to finish within the qualifying time for the Comrades yesterday. Today, 5km recovery run, roller and stretching, but pain is not subsiding yet.
Well done, Seth. Well done! - Both your race and today's Vlogs - One your best ever! Sooo very tough to be running that well by yourself during those latter miles. Very very impressive - you buttered some bread in NYC.
Absolutely incredible! I am so impressed with how your body has held up over the two marathons, fair play! Your recovery over the past 2 weeks has clearly done the job!! You should be so proud of your performances.... 2020 will bring big things 👌
