@@TimmyTheSnailI pre drill a 1/8 inch hole for the “self drilling” anchors as seen in the video. And use a screw driver only to screw in the anchor it self.
Here's the kicker.... I've used those anchors 100x..... and everytime I've had to remove the screw from the anchor after its been inserted, the entire anchor comes out leaving a hole the size of the anchor in the wall. The screws do not come out as easily as they go in because they pretty much stick in the anchor permanently, thus the entire anchor comes out.
@@buoghuoj they seem to be so many bad reviews with them my tv is hanging up with them never had a problem i had the same bracket up for 7 year 2 dif tv 1st 1 was a 32inch tv now a 43 inch tv nothing wrong with it but tv is really light
I usually get an old hss 6mm and take the first couple of mm of plasterboard surface off, then put your "wiggly/p.board fixing" in and drill. You don't really have to touch the sharp thread while you start it off and it t doesn't wobble around this way, just starts to drill straight into the soft plasterboard.
Don't hold the anchor with your left hand while you screw it. It will slice open your finger. Don't ask me how i know
I won't....wannna know how i manage to split part of my finger and lost my nails? You know how...
Im super curious how did you know?
So how else are you meant to do it..?

I know.😵💫
That little puff of air really cleans it up before installing the screw
20 seconds of exactly what I needed. Ta.
Pre drill first for better result
At what mm?
After ive fitted it, i temove it, fill the hole with gripfill then refit. Never had one come loose.
Thanks for this

Would you recommend plastic instead?
Literally so annoying
Suregrips are 1000x better...these fail easy
These fixings are only good for hanging pictures or at most a notice board, put anything heavier on there and it'll rip a hole in the plasterboard
I have had 20 pounds on a single one, never any issue

I always pilot hole
The Screw is still sticking out. Doesn't it need to be flush with the plaster board?
No - you're meant to leave a space, so you can hang a picture/mirror in that little nook.
It's useful 👍
この金属トグラは便利だよね~
Ahhh so you just drill it in! Now I know!
Top 👍👍👍👍
Not really, but it'll work.
Using a drill us the lazy way to do it
You are a brave man to have that drill that close to your bare hand!
😂do peaple really don't know how to use them😂
Yes there are. I am one of them. Dumb as a cabbage!
Looks like asbestos insulating board chief.
I hate these things.
All they do is leave a huge hole to patch.
Use a picture nail or screw into the stud.
Ever heard of fiberglass tape and filler
@@boxinggloves1699 Yes. And?
