I'm surprised nobody is mentioning he got the more rare ending , usually at the end when you pray with jessica she is pale and still has the scar on her neck from when she hanged herself.
yeah i believe its because he finished the game in less than 5 hours so he triggered the good ending (the one where she doesn't have a scar on her neck) if she had the scar that means you were too late to finish the game

@@basselh2585 no it varies in if in the final school scene where you learn what really happened, if you immediately run back when Jessica screams you get the “good” ending. You get the opposite if you hesitate or try to leave the building.

For the first time ever, xqc got the good ending with his speedrunning strats.
For people who don't know, if you reach Jessica quickly during the section with Father Loutermilch, she appears normal in the ending scene where she prays. If you're too slow, her face will be pale and she'll have rope marks around her neck.
I believe you have to turn around and run as soon as you hear the first scream

@@icegoalie7285 she is, it just reflects Blake’s conscious. Her being pure (no rope scars) means he’s fully cleansed himself of his guilt towards Jessica dying. If you didn’t know, Father Loutermilch made Blake help him stage Jessica’s death as a suicide, so Blake carried that guilt that he betrayed one of his closest friends, so he thinks it’s his fault, that he could’ve done something to prevent it. In the end, he realizes there was nothing he could’ve done, he was a kid after all, but the ending with scarred Jessica means he still feels somewhat responsible, there’s still a part of him that feels as though it was his fault. So simply turning and running gets you the “good” ending.

In case you guys didn't understand the ending; basically, the radio waves from the tower were making people crazy and Lynn experienced a phantom pregnancy, there wasn't actually a kid. Blake's mind can be seen getting weaker throughout the game as his hallucinations become more frequent and his mind is flooded with the guilt of not staying with Jess, which leads to her suicide. The ending is Blake succumbing to the madness.
