@@xXFoXyPaNdAXx I agree and I was thinking about using a clip of Austin Rivers speaking on Bronny but then decided not to because I thought it'd drag the video on too long. But from watching it, he made a great point. Has anyone ever thought of what Bronny actually wants? I think LeBron wants to help his son be the best version of himself but he just has such terrible self awareness and isn't doing that the right way.
I feel bad for AD. LeBron has no interest in trying to win and just cares about growing his and Rich Paul's brand. We're gonna be in for a long season my friend
No disrespect to REAL Lakers fans, but I’m so glad this is happening. All the DENIAL about who LeBron really is and the reasoning and motivations behind coming to LA can’t be hidden anymore
@@RageManRegg Funny thing is I used to stick up for him a lot more often than not before he became a Laker and definitely was during the 2020 championship run to the point where I even got so carried away I forgot he quit on the team the year prior. 2021 is when I realized how overrated he is amongst the all-time greats and really got to see his narcissism on full display when he quit after AD got hurt against the Suns in the playoffs and then the following year with all his stat padding, not trying on defense and seeing him post his highlights after getting blown out. I should've known it all along by the 2018 Finals the very latest from quitting on the team after JR's blunder when sure what happened isn't your fault but you still have another 5 minutes left to win the game and then the fake cast after getting swept, that was cowardly for him to do. I guess it's better late than never for me to realize how selfish LeBron truly is.
The idea of LeBron and Bronny playing together isn’t the problem it’s the fact that the whole thing is CLEARLY being forced and not happening naturally is. Bronny could’ve easily went back to college and improve his game, come into the league next year and possibly play with his father for his 23rd season, then LeBron retires after that🤷🏾♂️
@@bobbysmoove4796 I get your point and indeed it is forced but even if it wasn't, what Austin Rivers had to say about his experience playing for his dad and knowing it caused tension in the locker room was really the first thing that made me not want Bronny even if he was any good in college. Not to mention unlike Bronny, Austin Rivers was the number 1 player in high school and was a lottery pick in the NBA. Bronny's neither of those things. Also Doc Rivers isn't nearly the name LeBron James is.
I agree with saying that Lebron is on the Wilt Chamberlain status on terms of Lakers. Both Lakers in twilight years, only difference is almost every year Wilt was there they made the finals. When I bring up this comparison everyone calls me a hater, but I’m just a realist. Plus both have a finals mvp. Lebron is not and will never be an all time Laker great.
It’s a false equivalence because him making the Finals and WINNING was ultimate difference. Now if you want to compare personalities you can, but that’s an OPINION 😂
They both have winning Finals MVP on their resume and came at the end of their careers but yeah Wilt only making the Finals does say a lot. Yes winning it even just once is what got Wilt's number retired. 100%. Missing the playoffs twice and not even the play in tournament with a super team, also LeBron quitting on his team in 2019 after he failed to trade everyone for AD, quitting against the Suns after AD got hurt, then quitting in so many winnable games when Russell Westbrook was a Laker, yeah I think I have to give it to Wilt. While yes Finals record does hold any weight, all of this is worse than losing in the Finals. Wilt was also without Jerry and Elgin because they were injured when they lost to the Bucks in 1971. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here but Wilt didn't quit because he didn't have Jerry West or Elgin Baylor against the Bucks did he like LeBron did after AD got hurt 3 years ago? He did make it past the Bulls before losing to the Bucks and Jerry and Elgin didn't play in that series either.
All of these moves are just to keep LeBron happy and keep the money rolling while he's still under purple and gold. Jeannie Buss needs to have her jersey and merch sales, the seats at Crypto filled, and the sports betters continuing to fund them. If we're crashing down, might as well make money off of it lol.
@@sparky498 Exactly and it's pathetic. Was Jeanie Buss just that unaware of everything growing up with her dad as the greatest owner in sports? The Lakers are already a brand name with or without LeBron. How does she not know this? It's pathetic. If she's really that clueless, I know Magic Johnson urged Dr. Buss' kids to not sell the team after the great owner passed, but it's time. The brand we once knew died with Dr. Buss and Kobe.
Also, has LeBron even thought about what his son wants? It seems like what he wants is more important to him than what his son actually wants. His son definitely didn't sound nearly as enthusiastic about playing alongside his dad as LeBron does about playing alongside his son. 2:17 The Pinocchio reference was hilarious!
Great point and Austin Rivers said this too! After looking for stuff about Austin Rivers to use as visuals, I found that but I decided what was recorded has already been recorded and I'll leave it to those of you commenting to bring it up and I'm glad you did!
Actually Steve Kerr was the GM of the suns for a couple of years when Steve Nash was there, so while not coaching experience, he did have experience in that department of being part of a staff and Kerr played for the 2 greatest coaches ever, while JJ has neither.
@KentuckyWaterfall13 Being a GM is not the same as being a head coach. The fact that Steve Kerr played for Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich sure may have helped and as a guy who came off the bench, he may agree with Yogi Berra, "You can observe a lot just by watching." I covered the Warriors dynasty enough to know the Warriors motion offense has elements from the triangle offense, Spurs offense, and Suns run and gun offense.

I completely disagree on JJ Redick being intelligent in any form. He’s the absolute epitome of mediocre in terms of from college to NBA career. Yet somehow watching the real stars he’s form some “intelligence”
@@RageManRegg What he accomplished as a basketball player doesn't really tell us he isn't intelligent and you know I never liked JJ Redick.
