Vaishali has made great progress recently. She gained over 30 elo in just a few weeks and has not lost a single game during the Grand Swiss. If her second half of the tournament is as good as the first, she will be a candidate-qualified GM at the end of the tournament.

These constant chair noises are so annoying. Gory had better time management, but this did not matter in the end.
Why do the women compete separately from the men ?
The choice is their own. I imagine their reasons are many.
They can compete with men in open section. Most of them themselves choose to play with women.
