- Jason Coleman and Meagan Taylor perform "The City of New Orleans" with the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. Recorded live at a concert honoring Jason's grandfather, Floyd Cramer, at Callaway Auditorium in LaGrange, GA on February 9, 2013. Patricio Cobos, conductor.
I don't know whether I've commented on this performance before. I simply love it. Speaking from seven years out, I truly hope these young people have found the happiness and love my wife and I have. Our local musical performances were never recorded and have probably been long forgotten, but we've had well over a half century of children and love. I hope these wonderful young people have the same.

Very nice rendition. Arlo was fun but the original by Steve Goodman will always be first in my heart. Nice to see Floyd Cramer's grandson is keeping up with the music.

The original final verse is "Good night America how are you". But it doesn't make sense to say "Good night how are you" since when we say "good night" it means we are leaving. It's not a greeting. So I think it sounded better that they changed it to "Good morning America how are you" on that last verse.
Exceptionally well done! Topped only by the Arlo Guthrie original, and not by much.
