I scored an 8.5 in this speaking test! People who were saying that she deserved more, to them-
This isn't a memorizing competition. You will be judged on the basis of what you create in your mind at that instant. Every word should come from your heart. Even if you have memorized it, I suggest you all to give proper expressions while speaking so that they know that this person can have a conversation anywhere and not in just the ielts speaking test! And at last, your confidence with each word your speak is really very important. Hope this helps all the candidates out there.

Yes. I think students should take SPEAKING test as a gossip to make it easy
@@sumeraaziz2558 I was preparing for SAT which helped me to prepare for IELTS as well. It depends upon the strength you have in English. If you are a beginner, it’ll take around a year. If you are somewhere around in the middle with skills in English but maybe lacking in practice then 3-4 month is more than enough. If you are in a regular practice of English then a month is enough I suppose.
Actually, I think she deserves more than 6 band due to her fluency and ideas without any pauses.
no she deserves 6 band , she was giving direct answers . you should elaborate the answer usually ielts exam is of 12 mins but it ended within 8 mins and yes she used very common words which shows she has less understanding for vocabulary . : )

Then she isn't even giving a normal tone to the voice
She isn't even moving hands so it looks like she has memorised everything
Then as you have observed she said I am doing "ielts" which we should avoid to say to examiner.because you are giving exam already and completed the ielts class bro
Visual hesitation has penalty too so when she was like aa umm and when she just got stopped.this is visual hesitation.
Now tell me that she deserved 7 bands or 6.5

People, trust me or not, it seems examiner has already asked the attendee to be prepared with those set of questions. Otherwise, how it would happen that examiner wasn't completed her question but attendee started answering(seems fully cramed).

@Kezty Memorising something is not a good way to measure someone's english level. Now you dont know whether this candidate can speak better or worse because she is limited to the questions and has the correct answers memorised.
Also we dont know how she will handle a real conversation.
Its not a good idea to memorise answers bc you re just going to sound like a robot. Thats why she got a 6 and not a 7,a 7 starts when there is a few mistakes but you start talking naturally.
@@aswadsyednaz3073 But the examiner appreciated her grammar, vocabulary and fluency but lacking with the ideas. I think the examiner herself wants to work more on how to evaluate coz poor evaluation may lead someone lose their hope and confidence.

Madam I took classes from GlenEagles School For English, Vikaspuri, New Delhi and I got much better techniques. It has helped me get L-9,R-9,W-8,S-8.5.
I think the strategies told and made to practice for over 85 students worked wonders.

She should be expressive while speaking, she is not letting her complete the questions. I scored 7.5 in speaking and I was taking pause too as I was having a conversation not an interview with the examiner . Questions like do you like to do blah blah . If your answer is yes then don’t say I like to instead begin with yes definitely I love to do …. I hope this helps

It seems both teacher and student not natural. They have memorized answers. Very mechanical!
I think the problem was her short answers which looked readymade.for a language test dont know what is he importance of idea? here they are not going to develop an app to release.for a new subject a pause look natural than a practiced answer.

@@adolphfernandez1337 I have better option, work on section 1 and section 2 and make sure to get full score on these sections and if you have time work on 5-6 questions in section 3 then you can easily get 7 band in reading

I had misinterpreted the data of writing task 1 and I wrote men in place of women and vice versa although my organisation of sentences were quite well. Can I get 6 band
