Let me kno if I’m the first shot me out bro central MMB bass line
Not, GAMB dancers battling to MMB grooving 😂! GAMB just ran into a wall of sound. They'll be ok.. Size don't mean a thang!! 😅
The 3rd song MMB played was Lipstick Lover by Janelle Monae
That 2nd song from MMB @ 7:00 🥰😍❤️🔥💯....especially the trombone part "UnunUnunUh" 🫶🙌
Memphis band is so groovy. When they played Marvin Gaye, I literally went back and listened to it again. It was so smooth. ❤
The 2nd song is Drake X Search And Rescue 🔥 by MMB
The BEST one played....yeeeessssiiirr 💯🫶
@@kimberlylindsey3774 definitely shocked me how they executed it, hands down best one 🔥 and no doubt 🫡
All of Memphis arrangements fire you got one of the best arrangers in the South Travis over there
Don’t forget about tae over there also
@@Real12._ where is he normally
You have Tae , Travis, Mike (who is a legend), Rico and a few others that are legit
Best evaluation ive heard since the battle
Lol them New Orleans people were putting out Anti-GAMB hit pieces 😂
“I want you” sealed it for me
Memphis is on steroids with all kinds of love. Man they sound great.
Here we go
2nd mmb song is Search and rescue by Drake
Hang over is MMB style. It’s either your preference or not but as long as the trumpets cut off is together then you can not deny them points.
Besides GAMB had their own hangovers as well
What is this dude band fax? He gave a couple of those boring arrangements by Gamb a 5 🤦🏽♂️ 😂 then had the nerve to score Gamb and MMB trumpets the same. 😂 🙅♂️. MMB high brass was clearly unmatched by Gamb. I give the euphonium a tie and Gamb bones over MMB. I give tubas to MMB since Gamb didn’t sound off like they look. Drums and dancers I don’t care.😂
Mid 2000s TnSU alum I believe.
Mane I swear I was like what Memphis gotta do to get a 5. And he handing out 5 for GA on the account of absolutely nothing. Every arrangement sounded the same for GA.
its called an "opinion" bands facts arent needed if you disagree then you just disagree.
@@g4werkzgenesisparts556 actually they are needed. It gives everyone an idea of a person’s musical preference/values to know why said person is critiquing the way they are. He can still have his opinion. And I can still disagree but now I understand why he scored them the way he did. 😂 tnsu never had trumpets that could cut loose like MMB. Even if they did they were prohibited from doing so. That’s one of the reasons Memphis people did not March for AoB in large numbers. They were too conservative in style.
@@FinestOfTheSouth now it all makes since. 😂 🤦🏽♂️
The song that you said you like at 12:25 is Lipstick Lover by Janelle Monae if I’m not mistaken, can’t wait to see what bands gone do with her album in the fall!
They shocked me with that song and for it to sound so good! I hope we get more songs from her album too because it was surprisingly good to me
Deontae is special he have one of the best PENS 🖊️
Dawg Steven goofy 😂😂😂 love the reactions bro keep it up
Bands in Georgia are notoriously big but the sound doesn’t match at all. Bands in Memphis and New Orleans aren’t as massive and have to lean on skill to get through and it showed in this battle Memphis won this one .
Thats cap! Cus when we.post.concert band clips y'all skills don't match up.
@@ScoobyDaEuphoGawd no doubt I feel you musically gamb changed the game the problem is on these battles people want to be entertained. Gamb pretty much like famu huge band and they sacrifice sound for musicality. If ga sounded like they number they would be an immovable force. Memphis wasn’t perfect the trumpets hanging over hurt them a lot but their arrangements were better and the sound quality was awesome
Can you point out a band as big as GAMB that's putting out more watts?
@@pointblank5750 as far as the summer band no I believe gamb has the biggest one not sure how New Orleans will be this weekend though
All this about hangovers.....let me help you out. In the big band (jazz era), its common. That is much of what the Memphis band and sound is built on. Reference W.C. Handy's groups......that Memphis sound he brought into the his blues....definitely highlighted his trumpets. A millisecond hang.....TOGETHER.....not one solo trumpet champ like some of these college groups. That lacks discipline. This does not. Great work Memphis and Georgia. Memphis with the W for me. Balance ensemble. Articulate and exciting.
Dude scores so off my G. Memphis with the landslide victory 😂
@@byronshipp3454if u think it was a landslide for memphis, u dragging it tbh😭😭it was a even nd great battle
@@koju3891 even???? Really come on bro. GA got caught slipping and you know that
Man those section scores we could debate 😮
Arranging was also relative
The second song by Memphis was search and destroy by drake and 21 savage I think.
Memphis arrangements did it for me, and they had better song selection
Mmb came a represent good battle
Memphis. Memphis. Memphis. Memphis
Distance and sound travel is also relative
MMB had that energy... the hanging over isn't realy by thing but energy none the less.
GAMB played it safe... it feels like they had more in the chamber.
what is memphis last song?
The squeal isn't appealing. But the power they brought over all was nice.
They both agreed to 7 rounds. I just dont understand, why agree to 7 rounds when they could have just asked for 10 rounds? It was a negotiation amd a signed agreement. Thats why its hard to do business with niggahs
Memphis won this I was surprised they to me better than Nola but still a good battle I thought Gamb had JSU tubas I was wrong😂😂
Very wrong indeed 😂
You don't see all them tuba players from JSU? If you used a little more brain power you would recognize the band had an influx of highs schoolers (13-17) this year. So of course they not about to sound like one of the best tube sections in HBCU bands but they still the best tuba section in summer band
@pointblank5750 hell no, they not the best summer band tuba section with all them horn holders. MMB tubas literally matched them in volume with half the numbers. Gtfo and take that L cuz I know you go to gamb 😂
@@scalpter WTF lmao this why I don't argue with lil boys with low IQs. Like make it into college at least. You talk like someone who has never gotten an award for their playing abilities lmao like bruh stfu my ear is more trained then yours
Now your sectional review was horrible
Memphis is sloppy , country last notes and a very disappointing low brass . It’s seems yall nit pick gamb bc THEYRE bigger .
Lol I just wanna hear you play 😂😂😂
GAMB was not that great what is country about kicking someone ssa 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stop it my G 😂😂😂
Imagine someone from the back woods of Georgia calling someone country
