About two years ago fallowing your videos I made the classic red ornament, also in green purple and blue. They are one of my favorites Christmas ornaments. I also made one inspired by the green faberge egg using light green fabric, it turned out really beautiful. Thank you for your tutorials they are very inspirational

I've watched your videos from the beginning, and always loved your designs. Still trying to master the fabric covering piece, it's a lot of trial and error. Thanks for all the inspiration to keep going. It's hard sometimes to explain to people that these designs far outlive any holidays, they're year-round artistry. Thanks again.

also, do you use any of smooth foam's other shapes, a star for instance? they also have several different types/shapes and sizes and diameters of stars. if you do happen to use them can you please tell me what kind you prefer?

+Rebecca Campbell I have used Smoothfoam Brand balls and other shapes in the past. I have used a bell shape, star shape and ornament shape. You can see them in some of my older videos. I have no idea about the sizes because I used them many many years ago. Smoothfoam makes a harder polystyrene than other companies. However they have shapes other companies don't make. I'm thinking about ordering some more special shapes from them soon since I haven't done so in a long time.

can you please tell me the dimensions of that egg? On the smooth foam website they have several different types of eggs that are different sizes and diameters, half egg and regular egg, etc.
also, do you order all of your foam shapes directly from the smooth foam website?
thanks so much for any info, your designs are absolutely extraordinary!!

+Rebecca Campbell Actually, I don't get my eggs or balls from smoothfoam.com When I say in the video that I use smooth foam I don't mean exactly "Smoothfoam" brand. I use a polystyrene egg I buy locally at a craft shop in Japan, where I currently live. The egg I use in this video is about 8cm tall and about 6cm wide at the widest part.

+laurie stewart 15/0 is the size measurement on the package. Follow the link to see the exact beads I use. www.ccartwright.com/sunshop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=6810 They are very small.
