Well the IDF is a mandatory military. Which means it takes 18 year old teenagers and turns them to soldiers and fighters in a matter of months. For example the regular infantry pipeline is 8 months long from enlisting to the fully combat ready. That is why there is a big emphasis on safety regulations.
It feels amazing to watch a video and not being interrupted by 10 ads.
Also, the operator is NOT trying to sell you things like American operators.
I can only imagine the stuff they CANT show you

It's nice to see SF running the Fab defense stock. I think it's the best looking stock and the most underrated in terms of ergonomics.

The tethered chamber flag designed to clear when the charging handle is pulled back is innovative. Still I’m curious whether or not having a dangling piece of plastic near the fire controls can interfere. Nevertheless, I figure the method has been tested in the real world more thoroughly than most experience, so this is not a criticism. Very informative video!
I can tell you the chamber flag (Known as McPorek here btw) really doesn’t interfere with anything, worse case scenario the loop gets caught on something but it’s such a hard feat to achieve it’s practically impossible. When shooting or just aiming you don’t feel it
It’s designed to pull itself out of the way entirely when charging. After the threats are neutralized, the area is usually scanned for leftover (called “tvai levai”), including the chamber flag and empty shells, in order to leave nothing on the field.
please more videos of this kind

God bless Israel!
Which God? Your or the Israely..? And before you make a mistake by saying that it's the same God, I'm gonna correct you by saying it's definitely not. Christian God took a human's form to sacrifice himself to himself for some alleged sins our far, far ancestors made.. Jews vehemently claim that this is false and that their God still hasn't transformed, taken a human form, descended from wherever he hangs out these days and died for their sins...
So before asking your God to bless Israel for having such cool weapons technology and highly trained men, I'd start with thanking/blessing the countless engineers and weapons developers whose effort, knowledge and mastery of science, made them develop and build these awesome weapon systems that are are order of magnitude more advanced than Palestinian, and that gives them an edge over their opponents.. And after thanking and praising engineers, next in line would be these highly trained professional soldiers who suffered through countless weeks of torture to become members of an elite fighting force that is capable of dominating their enemies.. I don't see a need for a supernatural grandpa from the sky in this story.. It's all us, humans that are responsible for every good and bad thing that happens on this planet.
I don't know anything about your background, but I've been to the middle east three times. I have spoken with Arabs, who don't deny Jesus Christ existed, they just deny he is the one. The same as Judaism.
They all belive in the same God.
Say for instance, a man walks into a building. I said he took his hat off, you say he left his hat on, but took his coat off. I say he left his coat on.
Maybe someone elst thinks he left both his hat and coat off.
Because we believe he did different things, does that mean that he was not the same person?
Yes. Siftzurim and chill. As Sun Tzu said. Honored be his name.

And in the opposite corner you've got a Palestinian SOF operative sporting the sidearm - the newest sling shot made out of composite, space age materials and the latest model of checkered scarf, made out of the best Egyptian cotton. Let us not forget his "piece de resistance" - the venerable AK-47 pimped out with the scope and rifle but that can hold an extremely thin praying mat...

It seems nobody sees it so I'll address the elephant in the room; the muzzle control on these guys is virtually inexistant, they have been lighting up each other with full-lenght M4s during the CQB drill no less! Just sayin'...
Right. Maybe they wouldn’t need those safety rods if they kept their fingers of the trigger and stopped sweeping each other..just thoughts
@@letsdosomething1566 Amen to that, I'd venture to say the same for those safety loops on each piece of equipment. I get it, you need those when in water but other than that...
What experience do you have in this regard? not trying to be rude but the Israelis are generally more combat experienced than Americans
@@danch10 They sure have loads of experience, but imho they also tend to implement some weird ass ninja shit that seems a little bit over the top. Also their empty chamber carry is a bit off to standard western procedures. And also these guys in the video in particular that flag the shit out of each other in some scenes...They sure have a reason to do things the way they do it. But lots of experience doesnt mean that the experience shouldnt be questioned from other perspectives
@@whiteyweisszman They just carry there weapons in the ''Load'' state. Quick movement to action a round in the chamber, clearly they needed it for many reasons. There military also deals with a lot of civilians, which is why they can action the weapon to raise there aggression level and hopefully de-escalate dangerous situations. No other military in the world deals with civilians like the Israeli's do.
Plus its easier to snatch a loaded weapon from someone and start firing, instead they would have to know how to use the weapon. This happens a lot in Israel
Very cool. Thanks for sharing
Your Helmet and Marker lights even the M4 SOPMOD are made and manufactured in the U.S.A🇺🇸👍

In one event 2 guys from unit called Duvdevan trained pistol loading basically pointing against each other purposely to see which one load faster racking the slide(Israeli carry) and shoot, one guy had a mag Inside shot fired and a soldier died.
Happened 3 years ago.
The guy in this video is from 669 unit which is better and more professional than duvdevan unit.

Cool video, thanks, I always wondered about their SOF setups. Glad to see they are running NVG and PEQs more and more. I noticed a BCM Vertical grip, great choice over the long monopod type grips they were using! What about a weaponlight? And which handguard/rail system is he using in the video? Be safe out there.
Looks to be a rail from IMI Defense, possibly an older drop in.
I believe some models of PEQ devices have a built in white light
He said that the PEQ had a white light in it. So he doesn’t need one.
Really enjoyed the video
Amazing video.
Kind of shocking to know that israeli special forces don’t use their own brands or weaponry, like the IWI Ghalil Aces
I would have thought the hk416 would be a better option gotta love Israeli SF.
Damn... I'm glad I did my service 35 years ago... All this "stuff" modern soldiers are carrying is just too much...
if you had it you would of used it, times changed your're not cool cause you missed out
I was thinking the same thing, that helmet must weight a lot with all that stuff.
@@rafaelalodio5116 maybe 6 pounds all said and done. a full level 4 rifle plate
None of this is modern…
I thought IDF used the OSO Gear helmet, with the Agilite cover.
Excelente video 👍
Good video, learned some, thanks
That "Mak Porek" device is crazy 😳. I wonder if it's removed before an operation...and did the IDF run around with one in the chamber, on fire (safety off) in the past? With good trigger discipline, one in the chamber w/safety on should suffice, no?
No, it's not for operations afaik. And IDF forbids to carry a round in chamber for more than 30 years now. Not only IDF too: all Israeli security forces (like security guards) carry condition 3 or 4. The operator racks the slide when feeling threarened, not before
@@AntonAdelson thanks for that information! Makes sense.
Idf still train with empty chamber.
Non sf infantry in most cases run mak porek in operations like weapon caches searches in Israeli territory and more
Idf does lame ass job in teaching disciplines.
Disclaimer:
This comment written by active IDF soldier
@@AntonAdelson and thats the reason why negligent discharges happens in idf even in SF units.
When you get used the carry with mak porek and without magazine inserted you’ll rely on mak porek and not use your brain to maintain keep and maintain safety disciplines.
So when you’ll carry the weapon with bullet in the chamber or “Hot” your subconscious make you think the rifle is still in condition 3 or 4.
Most Israelis have never fired a gund before they are drafted. They start from 0 knowledge of firearm safety and operation at 18 years old. The only Israelis who carry with a round in the chamber are civilians who have carry licenses; I did when I was living in Jerusalem. The Firearm Licensing Office actually tried forbidding civilians who carry from carrying like that, but there was such a backlash from us, that they backed down. Carrying without a round in the chamber is one of the most dumbest things the IDF and Israeli police do over here.
got some troy iron sights! cool
I hope these helmets will serve them well against terrorists.
I hope those helmets don’t have to do anything.
You want them to fight against them selves? Naah

I could really appreciate this guy setup.
Every time I see one of these I can't help but thinking what did everything get so damn complicated?
Started my career in 79 offical ended in 2006,in the mid 80's crosstrained with elements of the IDF in Israel, little before your time young man, and one of my regrets was not taking the offer to move to Israel after I had retired, especially if what's going on right now as I'm posting this I really regret not being in Israel.
The stock system I used they call it the vltor A5 now, it's got a little more weight then that fab but it balances the rifle very well due to that, added bonus is the battery compartments in it,they run the length, never really used it as intended and more used it to set up as a counterweight to my liking and it can take being used to strike (butt stroke) and not break.
I may have missed it but what is the device that is attached to the front sight post? I know what it is for but I've never seen that.
Stay safe, good hunting..Take it to them.
