I'm not really worried about DJ if we can run the ball this year. Last year we had way too many lost plays running on 1st and 2nd down. If we can be in 3rd and 5 or less for a majority of our 3rd downs then Mike can call whatever he wants. If we have to lean on DJ then I will be worried. Also, our secondary is probably top 10ish. They make it really hard for the offense in practice. But the WRs were getting open in the spring showcase, they just dropped too many balls. Also our projected 2nd best WR is out for the year. We have a bunch of avg size guys with great speed and a couple big guys without high end speed but rather good athleticism. I hope they do a good job of asking guys to do what fits their innate talents. Such as fast guys going deep and big guys running over the middle. Not all the time but you get my drift.
Yeah , he’ll probably be awsome now, he got whipped by Georgia his first starting game at Clemson and couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn for two years, now for Florida he’s gonna step up ,thanks a lot
It’s called building around their strengths and not forcing your way on them to expose their weaknesses. Remember when Jordan Travis wasn’t allowed to throw a pass?
@mikefaulkner9627 it's called you just a bum ass clemson fan who doesn't know about football and how to build around your strength but keep that same energy and don't swith up cause no matter how you hate DJ is always gonna win
DJ started Clemson’s downslide singlehandedly. I hope for FSU’s sake that he has learned some touch. If he was even able to get the ball anywhere near the receiver’s hands, it was a cannon shot. That or a crater at their feet. Prepare yourself for a lot of frustration.
@@TheDrRJP I often wonder why people overlook his Oregon state stop. He didn’t do bad over there. In fact, he looked like a completely different quarterback. I noticed the guy at Clemson that replaced him dang near didn’t look much better. I can’t wait to see how he looked this year because he kind of turned it on at the end of the season last year. and I think that will really tell if it was Clemson or Dj.
He just got there and for him to do that vs the guys that's been there 😅😅😅😅 the last years QB he's not even good that was all coach norvel DJU is a real QB and norvel who's lost to DJU time n time again studied enough to know how great DJU is if he actually had not only the right pieces around him but also a coach

I see not only we can count on DJ having a fantastic year I can see we can count on him let's face the fact he's a former Clemson Miami hurricanes and now he's going to be a FSU guy so now I can count on DJ to win for us again I'm going to go ahead and do early predicting that we're going to go 13 and 0 and we're going to get somehow again to the football conference championship and if they take us out again ESPN will be fired and they were no longer allowed to be working with the ACC.?@Makise3
DJ is gonna have a fantastic year with FSU this season. Count on it!!!
This didn't age well
@@peytonatkins-c6j I still wasn’t wrong. DJ did not have a bad game against GT and he wasn’t the reason they lost.
Couldn't agree more with these guys and there reports. Excellent job, fellas. All facts. No bias. Love it.
Will.see if DJ can crush it.

Watch out for the running game from FSU. It may be really under rated.
I'm anxious to watch DJ go up against Clemson to show them what they could have had.

its called he couldn't complete a 10 yd pass 50 percent of the time but dabo is so loyal it took 2 seasons before he finally give up on him

DJU doesnt have to be great. That RB room is elite, and Norvell will scheme up a great running attack, ala 2022.
Yes they do for them to make the playoffs but they have a chance because it a 12 playoffs

Yep he stunk Clemson to 9-2
And then folded like a house of cards.
Which is why he transferred to Oregon State and had a season that definitely didn't stink.
Which means that he wasn't the problem - Clemson was.
😂😂

I must have missed the impressive stuff . All I saw was a lot of easy incompletion
He had to get better, he stunk.
You mean Dabo and his staff suck?
A lot of offseason embellishment for a guy that didn't play particularly well in their spring game. DJ Uiagalelei was 13/29 for 184.

Yeah Yeah Yeah, that's why he was at the top of Sagan's list to replace him
Name one undefeated team that shouldn’t have lost a game last year.
The better team wins and makes it happen in crunch time.
