My strategy for the modifiers is to turn those useless things off and wait until the devs realize what a mistake they made and remove them from the game. I also found I have to stop matchmaking since a lot of people don't understand them and keep killing themselves not knowing why. They are way worse than seasonal characters. One good thing the devs did is allow us to turn that garbage off so well done devs!
They were going to be in tandem originally!! Personally I would have retired directives. Modifiers and directives together is just kinda lame (now that I've experienced both together). Modifiers do make you stupid strong, once all are unlocked. The season range gimmick OTOH and weapon swapping I just don't enjoy, especially in the way combat and missions unfold in div2. Too hard to manipulate range and weapon swaps typically disable talents or have effects that are too short to really capitalize on, or a combination of both.
There's nothing new in the game. A lot of people don't realize that what did the Devs is just swap seasonal charachter for seasonal modifiers. They changed the rules of the game. Sure you can deactivate it, but if a player who is active join your group, the enemies switch to the new system, and you'll die every 3 sec. For the first time after all those years playing everyday, I want to leave this game
The same for me, I just wanted to play without modifiers but when someone who have his modifiers active join my group, then ennemies switch to the new system. The devs force us to use it. And the bad news is that modifiers are going to change every season... I really hate to feel like a hostage.

But there are good things about the season too, I like the Priority Objectives and actually also the Scouts (but I would prefer it to be straightforward and not the stupid "riddles").
My question is why? Who are the players who want to play division chess? Give me good downable content and I'll happily pay. But after a hard day at work, I want to come home relax and kill bad guys. I like different builds that make me feel powerful in the game. What is wrong with that?
After a hard work day, everybody want to make equations and geometry to evaluate the distance between an enemy behind a wall mid range, you in your garden short range, the tree of the neighbour long range, and die every 2 secondes because you didn't complete the 253257351725518258 activities to unlock seasonal modifiers...
Wanting a little more depth isn't a bad thing. I makes the player have to think about positioning in PvE play that they've never really had to so far. At first I hated the seasonal modifiers, too much new stuff for my small man brain to deal with… but I thought I’d give them 100 hours of gameplay. Now, I absolutely love them. They are fantastic, well, 3 of the passive modifiers anyway, the rest are probably best for specialist builds. I don’t like how I have to use the annoying ones to get through the seasonal journey, but along the way I’ve learnt a lot. I reset my global settings to Normal, and just worked it out as I went along. Now I’m back to “Happy” Heroic. Likes: My build was optimised, felt I couldn’t make it any better, seasonal passive modifiers (3 of them) have added a huge amount of weapon damage and fun. Dislikes: Being “deep fried” when 3 enemy have the shock ammo (master of none), and they take it in turns shooting me into an endless cycle of shock until I just killed by another. I just laugh now when it happens. Requital… the middle rangers (“ranger danger”lol) that reflect your bullets back to you, and… I’m dead. Now they are 1st on my long or short range sights! Lastly, I’m an Elmo person, but my second weapon is an auto rifle now (acr ss, boomerang, 100% accuracy and stability with rifle mods. “Laser”.) My lack of CHC is made up by one of my fav passive medium range modifiers btw, and now it’s better than the Elmo! The real question for me is, what is the point or benefit for having this turned on. Do you get better or more drops or more xp by running it? If not, the only point seems to be to make the game more tedious. Haven't gotten to unlocking the beneficial modifiers but if they mainly serve to negate to enemy modifiers, that doesn't sound like good design. I reserve judgement, but I'm sceptical.
@ yea idk actually my buddy is the one who I defer to usually on this game I usually just ask him what’s going on and so I asked him and he said he thinks you get more xp and it definitely felt like we were cause we had field proficiency caches from leveling falling out of the sky. Up to you if you find it compelling but is what they were going to deliver alongside seasonal characters vs the optional switch we got.
Im not a huge fan of the hostile modifiers, i mean there were bullet sponges anyway, now they are sponges with nukes! However dtopping down to challenging seemed to help ease into it.
The long range enemy’s shocking ammo is by far the WORST IDEA they could ever imagined in the entire shooting game history. 1000% pure toxic drugs consumed in their little mind and well brained inspiration. THE TRUE GENIUSES DEVELOPERS🎉🎉
I'm just checked out, as much as I love the game and never was like I'm out of here, I spent thousands of hrs grinding and playing this game and really do not have it in me to continue on a game this old with no new content other than different ways to do the same old objectives when all these changes would have been great in a new division game
I can't even begin to imagine how annoying it is for all the people who aren't completely immune to status effects this season. I get frustrated just from getting deleted because an enemy stepped barely out of close range and went into reflective damage mode. I'd probably throw my controller out the window if I didn't already have 100% Haz Pro and got shocked, set on fire, or confused every 15 seconds.
Okay so modifiers. I'm not a fan so i turned them off...try again next season i guess. When playing solo they stay off. A clan member joined me and instantly the modifiers started showing up for the enemies. What is weird is that the distance indicators did not show up on my reticle. So it appears that only the enemy mods became active. I asked if he had them active and he said no. Do modifiers automatically come on when grouped? I checked and mine were still deactivated. I will have to learn the system though as i think the climax mastery mission requires the modifiers no? I hate that they are putting the new exotic chest piece behind forced meh content.
as someone who often hops back on from time to time, this seems like the worst time to come back and learn the game again. it just seems way too overwhelming now with all the systems they added into the game. guess i'll just continue to wait for division 3 :/
So do you suggest to use a lot of haz pro because of those annoying enemy modifiers? I look forward to seeing some new builds to help with these mechanics
Honestly, I like this seasons grinding rather than ripping through it. How people used to spam the system and make it boring. Not a fan of the modifiers.
Is there any way to take off that modify thing on my sight when aiming on enemy. They just fucked over this game I'm trying to play for the first time today after the bull update but i feel like deliting this crab
So what is the best course of action here for farming season XP/Points? Just doing the weekly scouts and Journey missions? Are these two enough to attain all the necessary season points to reach lvl 100 on the reward track?
Season journey tasks and priority objectives that reward SEASONAL XP if you want to level your season specifically (like to unlock the new exotics). There is an XP bug right now and people are randomly getting 10s of levels in a shot from completing some tasks. Doesn't seem to be a pattern but missions and objectives seem to trigger it most often (and not random pick up or craft stuff tasks on the journey tasks list).
hey, new to this channel, first of all thank you for explanation, i was getting so frustrating with all those changes.. and also a quite stupid question, how are you claiming this new "virtuoso" apparel stuff for free? i've noticed that it shows that you don't have any of the season passes
The enemies modifiers are stupid and Ridiculous! Not only that in this game the enemies are bullet sponges, now they added this insane buffs to them. The first one is the one who just made me turn this modifiers completely...
I didnt get to play much yesterday, but what i did play, i enjoyed it. The modifiers werent bad at all. I had one instance of repeated death...in invaded bank headquarters, a guy with shock ammo got on that mounted turret and rekt me 4x in a row....i honestly thought it was pretty funny.
I wouldn't worry about it, the devs do differentiate between someone taking intentional or unintentional advantage of glitches. In your case it's definitely unintentional.
Over all I'm fine with the modifiers. What I am *NOT* fine with, however, is that occasional npc that's rocking the Requittal modifier but has no identifying icon above his noggin. With a high damage glass cannon (not the talent) build I've blasted myself to dust before I've realised what's happening. Really sours the 2.0 exlerience.

The only thing I dislike is the dmg reflection on mobs. As a hardcore aarpg gamer I never wanted to see that in a looter shooter.
Anyone know if the Centurion's Scabbard can be reconfigured (i.e., Weapon damage, + Critical Hit Chance + Critical Hit Damage)?
I need 3 more storage chests at the Whitehouse
What am I missing? I can't find the scout missions on the map. Where are they?
I can't even begin to imagine how annoying it is for all the people who aren't completely immune to status effects this season. I get frustrated just from getting deleted because an enemy stepped barely out of close range and went into reflective damage mode. I'd probably throw my controller out the window if I didn't already have 100% Haz Pro and got shocked, set on fire, or confused every 15 seconds.
Why I see coating icon often with white color, not red nor blue. Or are they actually yellow?
The grind is ridiculous now. Jesus
Glitch is same for regular premium pass as well. I bought that one and apparel items are still gone and now asking me to buy them.
Modifiers equals game over for me.
Yo the regen directive is broken or memento is broken. Or does having modifier on prevent you from regening?
as someone who often hops back on from time to time, this seems like the worst time to come back and learn the game again. it just seems way too overwhelming now with all the systems they added into the game. guess i'll just continue to wait for division 3 :/
The problem I had with scouts is the third wasn’t spawning what I needed to complete it
Whats the benifit to the modifers?? Ima keep them off.
Is there any way to take off that modify thing on my sight when aiming on enemy.
They just fucked over this game I'm trying to play for the first time today after the bull update but i feel like deliting this crab
Thanks for the premium + glitch info. I would have been upset if i paid for that
I like the concept it keeps me busy 👏🏽👏🏽
What’s up the outfit ? I paid didn’t get it
So what is the best course of action here for farming season XP/Points?
Just doing the weekly scouts and Journey missions? Are these two enough to attain all the necessary season points
to reach lvl 100 on the reward track?
Buddy. I did it in 3 hours. And that's not a joke I promise.
Season journey tasks and priority objectives that reward SEASONAL XP if you want to level your season specifically (like to unlock the new exotics).
There is an XP bug right now and people are randomly getting 10s of levels in a shot from completing some tasks. Doesn't seem to be a pattern but missions and objectives seem to trigger it most often (and not random pick up or craft stuff tasks on the journey tasks list).
the first one took me roughly 30 minute to complete
hey, new to this channel, first of all thank you for explanation, i was getting so frustrating with all those changes.. and also a quite stupid question, how are you claiming this new "virtuoso" apparel stuff for free? i've noticed that it shows that you don't have any of the season passes
Thank you
I play video games not work on excel spreadsheets
Any new content that comes with this?
My Reversal modifier does not even work
Eliminate Hostiles at Long Range with Reversal Modifier, been at this for days it wont work. Any Idea what to do?
Or is it bugged ?
for play the same missions again 😅
What do the modifiers even do? Like do they give rewards or anything? If not then I see no reason as to why to make it harder for yourself
So far I only been able to complete one so far
Still trying to figger out what passive modifiers counter the global one
The global one is more damage from range (its a buff). Which hostile directives do you mean?
The enemies modifiers are stupid and Ridiculous! Not only that in this game the enemies are bullet sponges, now they added this insane buffs to them. The first one is the one who just made me turn this modifiers completely...
They should've just added a couple of new missions.
Ubisoft needs the money they should prob fix that
they just cant leave well enough alone
Spawn to do stronghold died on the spot no enemies near me
I didnt get to play much yesterday, but what i did play, i enjoyed it. The modifiers werent bad at all.
I had one instance of repeated death...in invaded bank headquarters, a guy with shock ammo got on that mounted turret and rekt me 4x in a row....i honestly thought it was pretty funny.
I achieved my goal of 1 tapping myself with reflected damage, so mission accomplished for this season and I can retire.
@grumpyoldman6503
Lol ggs
Lvl 41 to lvl 67.
While this game is fun, it has become too convoluted to enjoy at this point.
Anyone else getting very little of the new gear from caches?
Need to go back to school 😮
I sent this to my entire game group. I’m not smart enough to explain the changes without sounding like a crazy person. Thanks for making this, Tux.
i am a squeaky clean player and was affected by the season pass xp bug when just doing the challenges, am I at risk of being banned?
I wouldn't worry about it, the devs do differentiate between someone taking intentional or unintentional advantage of glitches. In your case it's definitely unintentional.
No.
@@ansinnen in everyone's case it's "unintentional" because you can't really control it regardless other than just not playing.
Why are they making us scratch our brain after 6 years. Are they intentionally making us not enjoy the game.
Now that IO trusted them and paid for premium plus.....
legendary is impossible now. every team wiped within first 3 levels. Great job ubisoft! how's that stock?
If only they make grinding expertise easier 😢
Over all I'm fine with the modifiers. What I am *NOT* fine with, however, is that occasional npc that's rocking the Requittal modifier but has no identifying icon above his noggin. With a high damage glass cannon (not the talent) build I've blasted myself to dust before I've realised what's happening.
Really sours the 2.0 exlerience.
Facts...I was like wtf just happened😅
Haha I 1 tapped myself with a headhunter build which was funny the first time.
