Holy shit I only just watched this video today and I was Purple (scottishfraz)! I think a few people in the comments covered it already, but I do choose unspecified because there is no Scotland flag :) .
It was super interesting to see your perspective of the game - especially the part where you went into orange but kept your cap open. I still have much to learn.
Now that I seen your video, I wanted to say I am a huge fan and with your teachings I hit grandmaster a few games after that one (then promptly lost it).

I’m going to presume the reason the purple player “Scottish Fraz” states his nationality in his name while not displaying a flag is because Risk doesn’t allow you to select a Scottish flag and makes you select a British flag instead. I would imagine there will be a considerable proportion of Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish players that are highly aggrieved by this.

100% not, being Scottish and having lived in Scotland my whole life I’d be the last person to make this mistake haha.
I've just hit intermediate, probably the best game I played, imo! All credit to watching Pete's gameplay and following the 3 rules! Hopefully, I can keep it!

@darrellturner5952 Yeah, watching pete definitely helps. The win was good cause I beat a master and grandmaster. But I did work with the grandmaster. I just had the advantage after everyone was dead.

when you take into account the dislike the scottish sometimes have of britain and being brittish, paired with the lack of scotland flag it acctually kinda makes sense why they dont specify a flag but do specify their scottish :P
Agree. Considering the million random flags you can pick, breaking down the British options would be good.

You can fly the flag of Svalbard and Jan Mayen which is exactly the same as Norway, but you can't fly Scotland. I don't know what to tell you man...
I dislike that it says in from the United Kingdom in the lobby as that could mean I'm from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland when I'm from England. I wouldn't mind if it said England, United Kingdom. It's a weird situation is the UK because we are proud to be neighbouring nations but we have our own identity's and are very different people. We all mock each other but if a different country did it we would suddenly all fly the union jack, it's sort of like siblings, I'm allowed to make fun of my brother but you can't haha

What do you think about the implications of telling your audience that you love them when you cannot know, or love thousands of people say the way one person can develop a paradoxical relationship with a content creator? Some people argue that when content creators say I love you, it furthers that paradoxical relationship which can lead to the detriment of the viewer. Also some argue that it creates a community where people blindly follow or defend content creators, because they view them as friends rather than entertainers.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, as a content creator who does say I love you to your audience!

I thought WA was so natural, since you were outproducing Purple, so a war w him should have been ok for you. Was fascinated by your play in Germany. Perhaps you didn’t want to overextend because there were big stacks near your cap.
Perfect example of noobs ruining the game for others. Reds cap choice ruined their own and whites game. Yellow being a noob and stepping off cap ruined their game and brought huge imbalance to the game forcing purple to address orange and allowing Pete an easy win since he didn't take any hits. Well played and I definitely find those games more entertaining than seeing 6 (G)M take a card for 4h but those noobs are really frustrating to watch

I don't hate that play but if for whatever reason that doesn't happen I fail to develop in the early game and then I'm behind. Not really my style

White, neutral overall, least likely to take random noob aggression, and if you play with blizzards it's somewhat harder to see all of your positions
Pink with a female avatar and Spanish flag is my favorite. Really messes with people. The Spanish flag scares everyone, but female and pink means I'm friendly. I get way less noob slammed and teamed on since using that combination
