Loved this stripped back performance by Genesis! So many more of the lyrics sunk in during this listen.
Also, Huge Shout-out to Reverend Dollars! I think I saw this was her first time hosting a KEXP performance and, while you could tell she was nervous at first, she's really started coming into her own and got me inspired (I really needed that reminder that nerves are temporary wjen you're doing something you love). Excited to see her on more performances!

Yes Genny! Next big thing - such an enigma. Saw him live at Splendour last year and he was the best performer I’ve ever seen. Only going up from here. Can’t wait for the new album next month!
One of the best live performances I have seen! Jesus, no drums enhance every other aspect of the songs. Amazing!

It was kind of weird on leaving the light but the rest of the set it worked
This is very disappointing. I started watching this thinking it was exciting seeing a band without drums. Then I checked his studio recordings and drums are all over the place. I thought this was someone who was gonna have something different. Guess it's just a case of the drummer not making the gig or the drum machine broke.
